The staff read out their names, the potential rookies of this year and passed the reports to the head. The man in glasses studied the paper as if calculating a big sum in his head. He ran this background check  to never miss out on anything about the boys' conduct to make sure they could never attract any scandals. And he was content with the line up but still he felt there's a void in the group so he decided to go for another hunt.

" About the ones in the waiting list arrange a surprise sing-off challenge I'll be watching and selecting one... "

Anyone who looked at the final list of the members to be debuted, that came out of the blue one evening , could say that it was strictly based on the systematic evaluation they had gone through . So there weren't any chaos among other trainees but only the disappointment that they couldn't make it. The CEO wanted the boys to be able to adapt to the concept he has in his head for this group.

" See Heeseung hyung was laughing from the start... Guys one more time... Let's do it one more time..."

" It's hard when you just latch out at our face like that nikiyahh.... " Sunghoon replied supporting his hyung.

" Stare at something past him or do exactly what I do... Stare back at him like the same..." Jake told Hee funnily.

"I'll try... let's gooo ... "

They were doing the heartbreak anniversary  challenge while at dorms. They were told they're in the team two weeks before and they do know an extra will be joining in a few days and he seems to be finely picked by their CEO itself for his aura had much impact on him . And personally all the boys so far had  certain people in their mind since they knew many trainees from their company and also fellow companies so they were all excited.

But to their surprise or dismay as the pov change, the next day they were introduced to the seventh and final member, Kim Sunoo whom they never heard of .

Most of the members were in awe seeing the fox eyed pretty human before them. They all introduced each other and went to the assigned practice room.

On their way they learnt Sunoo is the least trained that being only for a month. This news did hit some at the spot and hurt their pride . Who was affected the most you may ask well it was someone who trained for over three years , known for being the ace charting always one in most of the categories and it's none other than Lee Heeseung.

A sense of aversion creeped into Heeseung's mind questioning the other's worth of being a part of this team. And he started to judge all of the actions of the new comer. But they played it all well putting on a smile and sugar coating words.

Sunoo was pretty friendly yet a shy person and he found all of these handsome young boys gaze on him intimidating at first but with the small talks he had he could say they were really nice with him and all his tension flew away.

They were only told to do some stretching exercises that day so rest of the time could be spent to know Sunoo more and he could get comfortable.

By evening they all clocked out and they split in half and got in to two cars. In one went Sunghoon Jay Jake Jungwon and in the other Niki, Heeseung , Sunoo and his luggage. Niki and Heeseung were talking like Sunoo didn't exist once they left the building and Sunoo found it a little difficult to initiate a conversation or interrupt their conversation. So he just stayed silent after watching  them talk for a while.

Sunoo turned to the window on his side and saw the pitch dark sky in the background emphasizing  a busy world under the street lights , which always fascinated him. With him lost in his little world he didn't noticed someone throwing daggers at his back. Soon a tickly breath hit sunoo's ear but the words they spoke took him by shock and hurt his heart.

"I see you're enjoying the view a lot... must be nice to have won the free ticket... "
