4:04 A.M.
"Genesis?" A knock on her door alerts her of someone's presence.
"Yes? I am almost ready."
"Sir Taehyung is waiting for you." Valerie's voice calls.
"Already?" She asks, eyes widening. "He is here?"
"Yes. He arrived early. He said that he will wait for you."
"But her corset is not on properly yet." Avery says as she holds the strings. "It's much too tight."
"I think that it's perfectly fine, Avery, thank you very much." Genesis says.
"Mm." Avery pulls. "I don't know, Lady Genesis. We cannot risk anything. Especially if your father finds-."
"Tighter, Avery." She looks back at her. "Just a little. Please."
Avery nods once as she sees the pleading in Genesis's eyes. They all want to protect her. Thought it's gone much further than just a duty for them. They truly love and care for Genesis.
They all want to protect her from the wrath of her parents, if they can help it.
"I will let him know that you will be down soon. But do hurry. I do not want to have the carriage to be noticed by anyone."
"I know. I will be quick. Please tell him that I am coming soon."
Valerie smiles at that. "I will tell him you will be down shortly then. And to have you back before your father returns."
"Thank you."
Genesis looks at Avery in the mirror who gives her a pained smile.
"Are you ready?" Avery asks, still holding some reluctance.
Genesis nods as she holds onto the side of the dresser.
"Stand up straight and suck in a breath." Avery says. "Ready?"
"Not particularly."
"One, two-."
Genesis gasps as she sits up in bed. Her hand on her chest as she catches her breath. Looking around, she sees that she is in not in her bedroom, but rather Jungkook's.
