(No POV)
It was still raining. Droplets of falling water were moisturizing the seat of a silver looking bike parked next to hundreds of others in the parking lot. The owner of this particular bike didn't plan to get his bike any time soon, he left a few minutes ago, drained. He went to work. This bike will be standing there for a while. It has a very premium parking stop for employees of the company that owns the parking lot. You may be asking, what company we are talking about. We're talking about THE Freddy Fazbear's Entertainment! And building that the bike is standing next to is THE Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex! The place where fun comes to life.(Erick's POV)
I want to go home! I got 3 hours of sleep and now I have to do extended shift, fuck! I'm delusional, I'm seeing things, 3 hours of sleep after an all-nighter! I'm surviving on energy drinks and coffee. Extended shift, practically no sleep and we have to install something new, I don't know yet what that's supposed to be and I don't think they'll tell me, I'll have to figure it out myself. Grandpa was right, this company itself is insane! I'm tired. That's why I was laying on my desk and took a little nap, I'm going to pass out soon.
"Erick! Wake up! This is not a classroom! You need to pay attention!" I heard a feminine voice call out on me. It was Vanessa.
"If you let me sleep, I'll let you have my lunch for the next 2 weeks, I promise."
I closed my eyes again, only to be shaken almost to death by Vanessa.
"Are you crazy?" I yelled at her.
"No, are YOU crazy? You are supposed to look at the cameras, there isn't anyone else in this building that is supposed to do that at the moment. You have responsibilities!" She took my pink kitten pillow that I brought with myself here. I immediately reached out to the pillow, my pink kitty pillow!
"You are not getting this back until you end this shift!" And she left. I'm not getting comfortable sleep anytime soon.
I'm jealous that Vanessa gets to roam around the Pizzaplex and interact with people. Maybe one day I'll get to do that too. But I have to fix my sleeping schedule first. Like that's ever going to happen. I glued my eyes on the camera system to check on everything, it's weird that I'm the only one who checks this when there are still customers in this building. I guess that's not my problem. I saw something on the cameras that are in the huge hall at the loading dock. A truck parked here, someone walked towards the back part of the vehicle and opened it. I saw a giant boxes inside. Maybe another pizza maker machines, they are very popular nowadays. Back to inside. Nothing is happening besides Chica in all the trash cans, that's the only thing that she does, eating trash. I wish I could talk to her sometimes, she looks like a nice animatronic. I guess I won't get to do anything as long as I'm at this office. Even after my shift. Heck this job.(Vanessa's POV)
Fucking idiot. Do I have to do everything here? I need to get Chica back to her room, these trash extractions from her system are getting expensive. I found her eventually and got her back, no extra stuff added to this story. Then I went to my locker and put Erick's pillow in there, suddenly I heard a call on my transmitter.
"Vanessa? I think we need your help with the boxes that just arrived." I heard my coworker from my transmitter.
"But who's going to watch around here?" I asked them.
"Erick is controlling the cameras, it should be safe." They answered confidently.
"I'm going." Literally doing everything here...
I walked all the way through the Pizzaplex to get these boxes out of the truck. Why isn't Erick doing this instead of me? The organization is really perfect around here. I entered the room, and other employees were here standing around the boxes.
"What's the problem?" I asked them.
"Well, we walked into some complications." The supervisor said.
"What do 'complications' mean?!" Okay, I'm stressed, I need rest.
"The storage space for these objects is not ready yet, we'll need to put these somewhere where the Pizzaplex customers won't ask unnecessary questions." So we are hiding stuff now?
"I don't know, the offices are usually full, not much space in here, you know." I told them.
"You could put it in one of the janitors rooms, one of them is practically unused." One of the other employees said, not sure with their statement, it's actually pretty crowded there.
"Just put it somewhere where the customers won't see it." The supervisor answered and left us to carry all these boxes. Heavy. So fucking heavy. What is in those boxes? I think, as the staff, we are allowed to know.
"Okay let's get these boxes inside as soon as possible, I need my coffee." One of the employees said. They really looked like they needed their coffee. I was given a few smaller boxes and was sent off. The big boxes were supposed to be transferred to Parts and Services. I was supposed to go to Erick's office and leave the boxes there. I did it, but I didn't enjoy it. I threw the boxes on the ground. These bastards!
"God, fucking dammit..." I whispered angrily. Erick noticed my presence.
"What is wrong, Vanessa? Is there anything that could be making you upset?" Sarcasm isn't the right thing that would make me happy now.
"It's nothing, just carrying new things that probably cost a shit ton of money that could be used for something different. Nothing much." I looked at him, smiled fakely and and patted the highest box.
Erick scooted closer on his office chair; "What is it?" He asked.
"I don't know, but based on the size and weight of the boxes, I guess it will be more arcade games. It's not like we already have enough of these." The West Arcade is lacking arcades the most, if I'm honest with you...
"I think they are better than the ice cream machine. Do you know how much it cost?" What is he talking about? What do the ice-cream machines have to do with this?
"The ice cream machine?" I asked, having no idea where this conversation was going. Erick rolled his eyes.
"The things in the boxes..." He proclaimed.
"No." How much would these cost?
"See? It doesn't concern you. Don't worry about it. They will tell us eventually." He said, trying to calm me down.
"I hope so." I spat out. I want to know where my paychecks are going...
The speakers broadcasted white noice until it spoke up.
"Attention! Missing child reported. White girl with long straight brown hair, 6 years old, pink dress. Last seen in Monty Golf."
A missing child?
