CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

He was excited to go home to see Aida. Eventhough they're together this morning, he don't know. He just miss her immediately. He laughed because of his sillly thoughts. Never in his life that he would go crazy like this over a woman. He pressed the 6th floor where his floor was located. He played his car keys with his fingers as he impatiently waited for the elevator to open.

His chest heaved violently for some unknown reason as he approached the door. This is so fvcking new to him. He felt. . . He felt. . . scared.

He took a deep breathe before opening the door and ignored the unfamiliar feelings. The quiet sorroundings immediately greeted him. His forehead furrowed in confusion. Where is she?

"Aida? Aida! "

He called her several times because maybe she was just sleeping in her room but no one answer him. He went upstairs and check her rooms but he didn't see her there. He look for her in every corner of the room but he didn't see her. He went out and went to his room to check if she's also there but there's none.  His heart beat fast and negative events crossed his mind. Fvck! He feel something's wrong.

He went to his study room but he still didn't find her there. He hurriedly went back downstairs and looked there pero wala parin. He still couldn't find her. He took out his phone and dial her number. Her phone rang but she didn't picked up.

"Come on‚ baby, picked up. " he said impatiently and dialed her phone again but no one answered it until the call died.

He was even more anoyed. Fvck! Where did she go? Did she bought something? He immediately went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. Seeing that it was empty he breathed sigh of relief. Maybe she was just buying some groceries and he is just overreacting. Maybe she's too busy to notice his call.

He calmnly walked to the sofa and sat down. He rested his head on the head wrist and close his eyes until he fell asleep.

He woke up around five in the afternoon but she was still not here in the unit. Worries filled his mind. He took a deep breathe and call her again. Her phone kept ringing but not being answered. Ano ba ang binili nito at natagalang makauwi? Sana nag sabi nalang ito na bibili pala nang groceries para naman matulungan niya.

When no one answered the call. Agad na siyang tumayo. Napigti na ang pasensya niya sa kaka-intay. He stood up and went out to look for her at a nearby supermarket or convenience store. He drove the car and looked at the side of the road because she might just walk back.

His forehead furrowed when he saw some scattered fruit on the side of the road. As far as he know. This is the short cut area. Hindi niya ito napansin kanina, siguro dahil ito lang ang tanging laman ng kanyang isip kanina kaya hindi niya napansin ang nagkalat na groceries. Walang masyadong sasakyan ang dumadaan dito. Only if nagkaroon nang traffic ay dito dumadaan ang ibang sasakyan para makaiwas. This place is dangerous, lalo na sa gabi dahil maraming tambay ang napapadaan o tumatambay dito.

He stopped the car and went out. He walked towards it and bent his knees to see kung ano pa ang laman nito.

Groceries.

It looks like it was just bought. But why leave it here at hinayaang mag kalat ito sa gilid ng kalsada? Maybe pinagkatuwaan siguro ito nang mga tambay. He was about to stand up when he notice something familiar na bahagyang natabunan nang plastic. He remove the plastic that was blocking it.

He cursed several times nang makilala ang bagay na iyon.

Aida's phone.

His not mistaken, it was Aida's phone.

He cursed again and again when it was confirmed that it was her phone. His chest filled with fear. Fvck! He can't forgive his self if something bad happens to her.

He immediately walked into the short cut area at nilibot ang paningin para hanapin ito but he couldn't find her there. The place was so quiet at walang bakas nang pangyayari.

He returned to the car and drove it away, he looked the left and right of the road at nag babakasaling nandiyan lang siya nag lalakad or nag tatago. Pero naabutan nalang siya nang gabi sa paghahanap dito ay hindi niya parin ito nakita maski ang anino nito. He reported the incident to the police nang umabot ng three hours ang kanyang paghahanap. The police promised him to looked for her. Eventhough hinahanap na nila ito ay hindi parin siya tumigil sa paghahanap. He doesn't stop searching. Hindi siya titigil hangga't hindi nito siya nahahanap.

He also told the security guard to call him kung mahahanap nila ito. But it took two days at wala parin siyang balitang nakukuha sa mga police that's makes him more frustrated.

Every minutes, hours and days. Parang mababaliw siya kakahintay nang balita. He didn't have enough sleep dahil wala siyang tigil sa paghahanap.

Now, his currently on the floor dumbfounded and don't know what to do. His friends also helped in the search. He wanted to look for her again but his friends refuse at pinigilan siya. They wanted him to rest but how can he rest kung lumilipad ang isip niya? He can't rest without her here in his arms. Minsan iniisip niya na siguro iniwan na siya nito. Na ayaw na nito sa kanya.

Mariin niyang sinabunutan ang kanyang buhok. Ito na naman siya. Nag-iisip na naman nang negatibo. He closed his eyes tightly and pray silently.

'God, please keep the only girl I love away from harm. I can't handle it if something bad happens to her. I might kill someone kung mangyayari yun. '

Agad siyang napamulat when his phone rings. Agad niya itong kinuha at tiningnan ang caller. Mabilis siyang nabuhayan nang pag-asa when he saw who's the caller.

"Yes? "

"We found her sir. "

Nanlaki ang kanyang mata at mabilis na napatayo at nagkukumahog na tumakbo patungong elevator at pinindot ang ground floor.

Fvck! Ang lakas nang tibok nang puso niya. He fvcking missed her so much! DAMN!

Mabilis siyang tumakbo palabas ng elevator nang bumukas ito. Hinahanap agad nang kanyang mga mata ang entrance. And there, he saw the love of his life looking so lost and vulnerable. Punit ang palda nito and he saw bruises on her lower lips at sa braso.

Umigting ang aking panga sa nakita. Nandilim ang kanyang paningin. Mabibigat ang ginawa niyang hakbang patungo dito. Gusto niyang magwala, sumigaw at patayin ang gumawa nito sa kanyang kasintahan.

Agad niya itong dinala sa kanyang mga bisig at mahigpit na niyakap. He heard her cry na ikinadurog nang kanyang puso.

Fvck!

"Hush! I'm here, you're safe now. " Pag papatahan niya at hinalikan ang noo nito.

God‚ he really love this woman. And whoever did this to her ay magbabayad sila. Hinding-hindi siya titigil hangga't hindi sila mawawala sa mundong 'to.

"I promise, I will do everything to pay whoever did this to you. I will never let them go. If I have to kill them I will do it just to avenge you. No one can escape from my hands. " he said in a dangerous tone.

He will make them pay for hurting his woman. No one is allowed to fvcking hurt his woman. NO ONE.
