"Ugh how much farther Old man?" I asked annoyed since we've been travelling for like forever and yep were back to nicknames again, "Not much father so you can keep your hair on"He says "Hey I am keeping my hair on "I told him "Oh really doesn't seem like it I mean your questioning me every five minutes like a genin" he says.
I sent him a glare but kept quiet after all what use would arguing with him do?As we travelled I hummed a tune that I haven't used in a while, "will you stop that?"Kakashi asked "Why?" I replied "Cause it's annoying"well now that I know it's annoying him I'll just continue humming. As we were moving I felt my blood run cold, as if ice took over my body. "What? What's the matter?" Kakashi questioned "Shh" I began to concentrate spreading my senses out as far as they could go......Bingo!
"Three coming at us 2 O'clock" I quickly grabbed a Kunai as Kakashi turned towards the direction they would appear, they were heading towards us fast "Stay back I'll handle this" Kakashi ordered "Err yeah right as if" sarcasm lacing my voice just as the other ninja burst into the scene, two of them head for old man while the big muscular one heads to me 'eh they probably though Kakashi was an old man with that hair of his'. 'Oh crap what am I going to do? There's no way I can fight properly on this leg. But I can't just here and let him kill me because one - Thats a dumb way to die and two - Duh I want to live'
As he was about to punch me I dodged to the left and aimed a punch at him, damn he caught it trying again wit my other hand just resulted the same. 'What should I do oh I got it' Using his arms as supports I quickly kicked my body up and aimed my legs at his chest 'Damn this is gonna hurt' I thought just as my legs landed the hit, like I expected he was sent flying backwards releasing me as I was also sent flying onto my back. Pain shot through me like fire my leg feels like it's on fire. I quickly got myself up and jumped back getting more space between us being careful on my leg Kami it hurts, 'I cant let him see my leg injury or else I'm in trouble, worse I don't even know how the old man is' "crap" I muttered worry for the old man rushing through me, I looked towards the guy I was fighting to see him slowly pushing himself to his feet Kami help me I need to finish this quickly.
"Wind release great breakthrough!" A powerful gust of wind went surging towards my opponent, he tried gripping on to anything but couldn't and the justu hit him which once again sent him tumbling down towards the ground. Just as I was about to attack again the old man appeared and knocked him out damn he took care of his opponents quick "Hey I was just about to do that!" I shouted walking well more like limping over towards him "I told you not to get involved" Kakashi said in a low voice "yeah well I wasn't just going to stand back and let you do all the work" "You stupid immature child you just can't follow orders can you!" He shouted at me, I stumbled back shock flooding through me like a wave. I mean sure we've argued before but he's never actually shouted at me before and for some reason that makes me feel a pain inside of me "You should have listened to me but you thought your too good for orders like always right!" "N-no that's not what" I said as he interrupted "Do you realise how worried I was"he says making me shut up.
"What?" I cant believe it he was...worried..for me. But why? "Your injured, you know you shouldn't be on this mission and now your throwing yourself into danger, Kami I swear to god"He begins to say "why? why are you worried?"I ask I mean normally he just argues with me and tells me how much he dislikes me so why is he worried? "Because your my team mate and in some ways my friend" wow I didn't know he thought of me like that.
"sorry"I say guilt for some unknown reason swirling around in me."What? What are you sorry for?"He asks confused "I'm sorry for not listening to your orders"
Kakashi's pov
Kami sama help me, I don't know why but this girl just confuses me and makes my emotions go all over the place "Sorry"I heard her mutter what's she apologizing for if anyone should be apologizing it should be me "What?What are you sorry for?" confusion obvious in my voice "I'm sorry for not listening to your orders. I sigh and run a hand through my hair "No I'm the one who should be apologizing after all I shouldn't have blown up at you like that no matter how worried I was" I told her guilt for blowing up at her flooding through me.
She looked at me confusion all over her face 'hm she looks kinda cute like that wait what am I thinking' "But you have every right to shout at me because your right I should have listened to you so why are you apologizing?" she asks in a slightly timid voice Kami she is just so innocent isn't she "I'm apologizing because I shouldn't have blown up like that and let my emotions control my actions. I'm sorry for scaring you too" I told her honestly
"It's al-right I just wasn't expecting it"she said sending me a small smile, I gave her my famous closed eye smile and looked towards the direction we were just heading previously "well I think we should finish this mission don't you?" I asked her, she quickly looked at me determination filling her eyes "Yeah" she said and with that we took of.
