The Illusionist

[Applause]

"Ready for another trade here trick by me! master illusionist"

Saiki and Izuku were on a stroll in the park when they heard a commotion and when they turned to look, they saw a man around mis to late 30's wearing a purple suite and top hat. The man was talking to an audience. this man was apparently a master illusionist—at least that's what he claimed to be.

"Hey pink hair come join the fun you can even bring your friend." The illusionist said both Izuku and Saiki looked as if they would rather be anywhere else, and they did after all they were on a date and this man is clearly blind seeing as both Saiki and Izuku were holding hands and this man just called them friends.

"I'll do a trick to put a smile on that face." Saiki was annoyed all he wanted was to go on a peaceful walk with his boyfriend not stand here and watch some children tricks. Saiki used his x-ray vision to see into the illusionist hat and found a dove. Izuku was also irritated but he was too nice to show it. He decided to wait and see if Saiki needed him.

'No thanks already seen it' "Oh, I see You're a skeptic but once you see my show you will become a believer in my powers to amaze ha-ha." The Illusionist said. Izuku wanted to see the illusionist fail since he was so gracious enough to ruin their date. 'Fine I'll stay and watch just so he leaves us alone.' the Illusionist seemed excited to prove to Saiki and Izuku that he was the real deal unknown to him one was a physic and the other was a quirk user.

"Right, I hold here an ordinary cardboard box." Once again Saiki used his x-ray vision to see inside the box 'Nope there's nothing ordinary about it' Izuku gave a quite snort at his boyfriends thought. Saiki gave him a small smile enjoying when he could make his adorable boyfriend snort or giggle. Saiki and Izuku have gotten very comfortable in their relationship that they opened their minds to each other.

"As you can see it's empty inside." The crowd look but saw nothing 'At that angel they can't tell there's a partition.' Saiki and Izuku thought both agreeing this was pointless. "But watch just a couple tap and it's party time" The illusionist opened the box "Aren't they amazing folks." The crowed clapped as a flock of birds flew out of the box and into the sky. the crowed was in awe at the display. Saiki and Izuku were both looking unimpressed. This caught the eyes of the illusionist.

"Hey there kid trey yen am I right." 'It's not trey yen. If anything, were both more worried about that dove.' Izuku was more worried than Saiki since he was an animal lover unlike his boyfriend. "And now ladies and gentlemen please turn your attention for the main event of our show. My super Illusion. magically teleporting from one box to another. the person performing this illusion will be my assistant Michael." a homeless man who had fly all over him and had a yellow straw hat walked up to the illusionist and stood next to him.

'Lovey is a stretch' Izuku scrunched his nose in disgust the man smelled horrible. "The beautiful Michael is entering the box and drum roll" Again beautiful really thought both Saiki and Izuku as they watched the homeless man step into the box. 'What expression am I supposed to be making right now?' Saiki said to his boyfriend 'I think excitement? am not sure.' Izuku said to his boyfriend 'Either way this whole thing is stupid.' Izuku said Saiki agreed he could have been eating ice cream with Izuku instead he's here watching a grown man try and impress people tricks. Saiki was so over this whole spectacle and just wanted to be back home cuddling with his boyfriend eating coffee jelly and watching a movie.

Using his X-ray vision Saiki could see the homeless man crawling under the table towards the other box. Izuku sighed and felt bad for the homeless man this trick was destined to fail from the start. 'His overconfidence make me cringe' Izuku agreed with him 'I'm still worried about the poor dove in his hat. does that hat have air holes' Izuku asked Saiki who shook his head.

"All right let's open the box" 'Uh-oh lovely mike isn't done teleporting in.' the crowd cheered with excitement but Saiki and Izuku kept their natural face though Izuku did feel bad for the homeless man he was sure to get blamed for the trick failing.

"Three! Two! One—it's party time." The Illusionist opened the box, and the homeless man came out but not from where everyone expected him to—He came out from under the table. Izuku felt bad for the poor illusionist and the homeless, but the illusionist should have given the mike more time to 'teleport' this is the illusionist fault. The crowd upon realizing the failure illusion dispersed and went on their way.

'Now I really don't know what type of expression to make.' The Illusionist was in a state that can only be describes as a mixture between shocked and shame. Izuku and Saiki decide to stay just to make sure the dove was ok. Mike came up and asked the illusionist for his money this seemed to snap the illusionist out of his shocked state.

"Why should I pay you, you ruined the illusion." The Illusionist said, "I moved at normal speed it was your dam pattern that got so fast now you hand over those 500 yen." Mike extended his hand toward the illusionist "No one tipped me for this performance so I couldn't pay you even if I wanted to." The illusionist said when he noticed that Saiki and Izuku hadn't left yet.

"Hey why are you hanging around?" both Izuku and Saiki gestured to his hat "Oh you want to give me a tip. I could never take money from a kid the look of joy on your face is—" The illusionist said before he realized his beloved dove had passed out. "PICO!!!"

the next moment the illusionist is holding the dove who seemed to have woken up "I complete forgot she was up there" 'How can you forget that theirs a dove on your head?' questioned Izuku "So you weren't trying to tip me you were trying to remined me. wait does that mean that your both magicians." The illusionist asked Saiki and Izuku regretted telling him the dove was up there they should have just teleported her out of his hat. "That how you knew she was up there" 'We should have kept walking.' Both Saiki and Izuku thought.

"That's good you must have hated my show maybe I'm not cut out for the magician game after all." The Illusionist said sadly as he looked up at the sky. Izuku felt bad for him this looked like something he felt Passionist about. Then the illusionist told his tragic back story. It made Izuku stop pitying him after he explained why he became a magician.

"Then it dawned on me I should become an Illusionist" 'Yeah wait what!?' "Because so many things had vanished from my life, I thought it must mean that disappearing was my talent." 'Your only talent is self-delusion.' "So even though I'd been offered another office job I turned it down to start my new life doing street magic." 'Again what?' "If I can Save up one million yen, I can buy the sawing of body in half trick then, my wife is sure to come back." The Illusionist said with passion.

'Again, don't be so sure.' "Then I wonder if I choose the wrong path" 'Yes, yes you did.' both Saiki and Izuku thought 'Now quit street magic and get a real job.' "Sorry didn't mean to get all gloomy. now let's get back to your background as an illusionist and how you knew I had a dove up there" suddenly Saiki got an Idea Izuku waited to see what his boyfriend had planned 'That's it!' Saiki grabbed his school bag "Whoa going to pull something out of your bag." 'I'll do a trick that's so beyond his ability. He will realize how far gone he is and give up' The illusionist was excited to see what the young man Infront of him would pull out.

"You're going to pull out a dove well I'll have you know that I can do a bowling ball." Saiki seems to have taken this as a challenge. Izuku sighed both amused and irritated. Saiki reached into his bag and pulled out.... drum roll.... Mike!

The Illusionist face was priceless as he fell on his knees once Saiki place the fully grown man, he had just pulled out his bag on the ground. Saiki gave a pleased smirk and grabbed his boyfriend hand and left. He hoped this would show the Illusionist he wasn't cut out for street magic and give up.

Saiki and Izuku continued on their date until dawn when they both returned to their houses and did their nightly routines before going to bed.

All in all, it was an ok day, and both vowed to never go on date to the park again.
