It's a quiet night in Rosewood and most of the town's shops are closed and empty. In the middle of the town was a rustic wooden restaurant called the 'Apple Rose Grille'. Through the pane glass window of the Rosewood Grill, Hanna, Emily, James, Aria and Spencer wearing their black funeral outfits, sitting at a table. They are the only patrons in the restaurant except for a few servers and one older couple, the place is empty. "Why was Jenna there?" Aria asked, "I guess she's back." James responded holding his tea, "That cop acted like we were suspects or something." Hanna said sipping from her diet coke, "Do you think we looked guilty?" Emily said worried, her face was paler than usual, her eyes bloodshot, Aria took her hand before saying. "Why would we? We haven't done anything wrong...except lie about 'The Jenna Thing.'" "We promised we'd never bring up 'The Jenna Thing' again. Remember? It never happened." James said looking at Aria, "Have you found a way to forget? I still wake up sometimes in the middle of the night" Aria said looking down, "Aria, it was an accident." Spencer said kindly, Emily looks down at a friendship bracelet and nervously plays with it. She hasn't forgotten. Hanna dumps the last of the booze from her silver flask into her diet coke. The older male sees this but Hanna catches his gaze "It's medicinal." Hanna said but he continued to judge her with his stare "Cramps." Hanna shouted, He finally looks away. "I don't get it. How does "A" know something about me that only Alison knew?" They share a look. "I miss Ali." Emily said before crying for a moment. A server refills Spencer's coffee cup and drops a packet of sugar onto the table.

Hanna grabs a sweet potato fry from the communal plate on the table. She mindlessly munches on it before she eats another and another. Emily continues to nervously play with her friendship bracelet. Spencer watches this and the discussion takes a turn down memory lane. "When Ali didn't come home I knew something terrible must have happened to her, but there was a part of me that imagined someday she would just show up." Spencer said, playing with her hair, "I used to think maybe Ali had run off with some guy." James said looking down at his hands, "That she was laying on a beach somewhere getting a tan with that hot lifeguard who worked at the pool." Hanna said before giggling, suddenly a white cane with a red tip tapping back and forth came from the door.. It was Jenna wearing dark sunglasses, as she stood in the doorway of the restaurant. Hanna, Emily, James, Aria and Spencer practically hold their breath as they watch Jenna find her way to a seat at the counter. She is far enough away that they don't hear her order from the server. Spencer is the first to stand. Her friends silently follow her lead before leaving, getting in each other's cars and leaving. Not saying a word.

Hanna got into her car and looked in the mirror, her face was all blotchy and tears were forming in her beautiful eyes. She had eaten almost three platters of sweet potato fries and she could feel every single one in her stomach, and she only knew one way to make it stop. She sped home, rushed into the bathroom and there...all better. She flushed the toilet and wiped her mouth before looking in the mirror, the blotches were gone and her eyes were back to being beautiful. Hefty Hanna was gone, and she was back to being the beautiful Hanna she loved. She knew thinking this was wrong, and making herself throw up was not helping either, but it's the only way she knew how. Hanna then went back into her bedroom and brushed her hair before throwing it in a ponytail. She looked at her phone to see messages from everyone apart from this A person. It was probably some prank, maybe Alison had told somebody? Maybe these texts are Alison and she's not dead? Who knows, all Hanna knew was she didn't wanna be dragged into her old clique of friends. Without Alison, they were losers and freaks! Hanna had a new life, she was the queen bee ruling with her best friend Mona! Hanna soon enough got into bed and fell asleep forgetting about A, and all the troubles surrounding her.

Hanna woke up to her seven o'clock alarm and immediately started putting on her makeup. First was foundation, then lipstick, blush, eyebrows and some setting powder to really add a wow factor, Hanna then let her hair down before brushing it into it's normal wavy style with a smile. Hanna then walks downstairs and into the kitchen with the television broadcasting the local rosewood news in the background. Hanna, dressed for school, refilled her coffee cup when Ashley, dressed for work, enters, sets her mug on the counter and opens the refrigerator. Hanna tops off her mother's cup as Ashley empties the nonfat carton into both of their mugs. "That's the last of the milk." Ashley said, "It's on the list." Hanna added a little bitchy. Hanna and Ashley do a last minute vanity check and share a wall mirror before Ashley applies a dusting of face powder as Hanna colors in her lips a little more. "Rosewood Detective Darren Wilden held a press conference this morning." The reporter on the TV said, Hanna freezes, "The coroner released his findings this morning and although Alison DiLaurentis' body did show signs of a blunt force head trauma, the cause of her death was suffocation." Wilden says on the TV before Ashley picks up the remote and turns off the television. They both watch the screen go dark before Hanna starts applying her lipstick whilst Ashley watches. "Is that Amber Rose?" Ashley asked with a smile, Hanna nodded. "It's a great color for you." Ashley says before Hanna smiles and grabs her purse before leaving.
