A/N: HELLO THIS IS MY SECOND BOOK!! i'm so very excited for it. Also i Haven't seen many Katie McCabe stories so though i'd make one for you McCabe fan girls or boys(we dont discriminate‼) ANYWAY! all feedback on the book is appreciated, and Enjoy! Hope you've had or Have a good day!

"Oh my fucking god!" I woke up to the worst hangover to exist. Thank god I was at my house... unfortunately I didn't come home alone, I look over to see Lauren hemp in my bed... great. I've already slept with most of the gays here at man city it's getting a bit much. I'll just wait for Lauren to get out before I call my manager. I lay there for a bit scrolling on Instagram, Until I come across a post that shocks me... It's an edit of Ruesha Littlejohn, and Katie McCabe saying they broke up. Now I never officially got a Nice formal little greeting from McCabe, but let's just say we don't get on... At all.

(flashback Arsenal-vs-Chelsea)

The ball lands at Lauren James' feet, and she makes a long past to me. As I'm running down the field I Feel someone not only clip my ankles but the back of my knees where I completely fell face first into the ground. When I finally can get myself off the ground which was almost immediately, I was fuming and was about to go off the person who did it. Once I get on both my feet I shove the person from behind without even taking a glance at them. They fall back a little bit instantly turning around. She shoves me back and I almost fall. This pisses me off even more and some words were shared between us. "fucking asshole, You clipped my fucking ankles!" I said fuming 'cause what the fuck! "maybe next time don't fucking trip and you wouldn't have fell flat on your face!" she said almost laughing. That's when I saw her swing at me, So instinctively I ducked and dodged it. At this point the refs were all over us, both teams holding back each other. I was about to just leave it and go back to the game until the ref tried to pull me aside and give me a yellow card. I wasn't having it, but I also didn't care, Just add it to the pile I guess. So just to be funny, as I was running back to my spot I turned around and gave her a double thumbs up and a big smile. She didn't like that... and sent a glare.

I thought that would have been the last of my and McCabe's rivalry but I was wrong. I had got the ball passed over to me by Fran Kirby, my England teammate. And as soon as I got the ball I felt a body not only collide with mine but ram into me, making me fall on the floor. Causing me to lose my breath. Struggling to breathe laying there on the floor, I felt something shoot down my spine. I move my neck up to where I could look around.. and all I saw was a number 15 Arsenal jersey with the last name McCabe on the back walking away. After I heard the ringing stop and the voices mummer, I heard someone. A very familiar voice yet I hadn't heard it in so long, so long it became an unfamiliar voice. I look over to see Leah Williamson by my side. " You all good, That was a hell of a hit?" she said so chill like everything was gonna be fine, turns out it wasn't.

For some reason, I couldn't respond. My throat had been so dry, I had been dehydrated, and still couldn't breathe. Soon enough I thought everything was fine, still laying on the floor telling the medics to wait to come over. I tried to sit up, But my back lay still. Williamson even personally sat me up, to where I was sitting on my butt, with my legs out in front of me. "Leah?" I said quietly, scared unsure of why my legs weren't willing to move. "yeah?" she said in a low tone, unsure of what I was asking. " can you help me stand up completely." I basically almost choked on all of those words scared that this is what I think it is. Leah just shook her head yes. When I was on two both legs, which were stiff, I told her I could walk... so she let go, completely. I collapsed back to where I was when I got hit by Katie McCabe. The medics instantly came over with the stretcher and I started crying tears after tears, cause I knew exactly what was going on. I felt a hand Hold mine as we were walking out, with me still on the stretcher. I glance over to see who it was, Millie Bright. "you gonna be okay?" she said with this look in her eyes. I squeezed her hand tighter because I had a feeling that this was gonna be a hard take for the both of us. Especially for me to say out loud. " Mills..." I paused as I was hurt mentally and physically.

"mills... I'm paralyzed." I said with a raspy voice and after those words came out of my mouth all hell broke loose. Millie broke down in the corridor and stay behind. As she had to finish the game.

(Millie Brights pov)

I sat there for about 4 1/2 minutes crying. Because Rylie was my best friend. To think that Rylie would never step foot on the pitch again hurt me so bad. Because that meant No more WSL with her, no more nationals, no more Olympics. Our friendship would be weird. She wouldn't talk about football anymore... She wouldn't be able to play football anymore. She had only just got to this club last season. I knew when she signed though That she would be here for a limited amount of time, it was fun while it lasted. I finally stood back up and walked back out to the grass where shit had just gone down. I didn't see McCabe. She must have got sent off. Good. Cause if not her it would have been me. Sometimes when we play Arsenal I see Ry look at McCabe in this way. Like a love-hate way, Like... She had this admiration in her eyes for her, when McCabe wasn't looking. But when she was, The rivalry spoke for itself just out of eye contact. I know That Ry Is absolutely broken, I just need to get through the next 20 minutes and not let them score. We were currently leading the game thanks to Rylie and Fran. Once the game was over I rushed to the Hospital and some of the Arsenal and Chelsea squad members were in a private waiting room together. Shock me to see McCabe sitting in This hospital, considering the fact she's the reason we are here...
