Chapter 8

What? I said annoyingly when Macy, kept on dragging me to the gymnasium this morning.

I know that she's been excited to see the results of yesterday's election but damn, i don't want to rushed like I'm chasing for my dear life right now.

We entered inside the gym, where there are many crowds of students talking & whispering at each other. But, what the majority does are staring on the green bulletin board placed in one of the corners of the gym.

"Best, come here faster, let's see the results." Macy said as she shoved herself fast to a bunch of students, ogling the board.

As i pushed myself hard in order to reach & came near my best friend, some students voluntarily gave way to me while their murmuring to each other words that i didn't paid enough attention.

So when i see clearly what was written on the board, i gasped my self in surprise...

"Congrats best', you did it, " Macy squeals hugging me tightly, while all students were looking into us.

"Congrats to you too, as you can see they choosed you as SENIORS beauty representative," i said sarcastically to her.

"But why you seems not so happy with the results best?" she rolled her eyes on me.

"Of course, I'm happy for you, it's really expected but you know that i'm not really happy to have the post, as you knew my reason & another one is that, you just elected me, so i got to win, it's your charms that made my winning votes, i said sadly to her.

"That's not a problem best, i know that you deserved the post & that you can serve the whole seniors population very well, because you are simply the best, " she answered happily.

"Who's the best in here?" a sarcastic voice of a girl said behind us.

When we twirled around, we saw the stupid girl pouting & looking on us, like she want to devour us for her breakfast. She is with her group of blonde friends. She walked in front of me, glaring.

"So you think your the winner of the V-Pres.post, when eventually you just have 5% winning votes ahead of my bestfriend?" Pointing to my co-nominated 'Rann McCartney in her back. "Know what, even if you win, you are still an ugly loser for all of us," she continued, which makes her friends burst out into laughters while the crowds are looking attentively on us.

When Macy, stepped forward right infront of the stupid girl, blocking myself to her. Macy pointed her out.

"You are the loser! caused you are too jealous enough to insults my bestfriend! I may applaused all the students who didn't voted on you, because you didn't deserved to win with your animalistic attitude!" Macy said angrily which resulted the crowds to cheers probably approving what my bestzie has said.

"Really, oh well goodluck to you MISS MUSE, & you people keep quiet outhere!" giving the crowd a pointed look.

"Listen there bitch, as we all know you just used your flirtatious beauty to be chosen by the boys in this campus, to be a beauty representative, with your slutty looks, whoever knows what did you offered to them in return? Maybe a date or a one night stand? The stupid girl accused my bestfriend while smirking evily.

"How dare you?" Macy said angrily to her.

"What's going on here? a popular deep voice of Winter Grey, snapped us all, while walking towards our direction...

"Oh! Hey babe." the stupid girl flirtatiously greeted Winter.

"I'm just congratulating them & you too, for winning landslide over me, I can't really beat your charms till this day" Menzie continued, lying to the popular boy.

"Really? I stopped by because i heard you two are yelling at each other. So stop what's your arguing because you are not setting a good examples in the eyes of your co-students. And, about that, i think let's congratulates all ourselves. We may win & lead you, but we still need your cooperations to harmonize the population of all the seniors, he emphasized, looking to Menzie & Macy.

"True enough, but others here, seems to cannot moved on & accepted that they are being defeated, my bestfriend said glaring the group of blondes.

"Excuse us Mr.President, come on best, let's get out of here, i'm just being suffocated with the bitchness of others here. Macy added, while lifting my arms & dragged me fast outside the gym.

"Grrrrrrrrr... I'm so annoyed with that bitch! Why she has to insults you like that? If I know that she's just using her parents power to maintain her top spot in this school, eventhough we knew that she's not really that smart." Macy said irritatedly when were already outside the gym, walking our way to the other building.

"Best, enough! Don't let her getting on your nerves. Whatever she said to me or either to you, really doesn't matter because we know that it wasn't true at all.

"But best, I know she wouldn't stop insulting you. Especially that I'm not around to look on you, she whined again.

"You don't have too, I know it's hard, but I have to fight on my own, not with throwing insults but by studying hard to earn a good grades. By that, she will see that she cannot stepped on me, but thank you so much for protecting me." I answered gladly to her.

"What best friends, are for? You know I'll fight till the sun set's right," she joked & we burst out to laughter.

"Waaait! We heard Winter's voice shouting in our back, that made us stopped on our tracks.

Macy & I looked at each other while Winter's stopped in front of us, gasping for an air which resulted from his heavily running.

"What do you need Mr. President? Macy asked directly to the popular boy.

"Sorry for disturbing you girls, but 1st I want to congratulate you both as an elected officers & second I'd like to inform you that we will be conducting a newly elected officers meeting later, after class. In this way we will got to know each other well & we can discussed on what projects we will be doing as seniors. Since the juniors, sophomores, & freshman might have their own, that will help beautify & improved our school." He explained carefully.

Macy & I nod in agreement, to what he just said.

"And Nestle,,, before I forget, can you please introduced me to our newly chosen MUSE, since I didn't get to met her, this close, he said pleadingly.

Macy seems to rolled her eyes on what Winter's requested & nod on me in agreement.

"Yeah sure Winter." Ahmm.."Best, met Winter Patrick Grey, as you know our newly elected President & Winter, my bestfriend, Macy Smart." I introduced them formally.

"Glad to finally met you, Winter uttered seriously offering his hand to my bestfriend.

"Me too," Macy simply answered accepting Winter's hand.

As I watched them smiling & shaking each others hand, Winter is still looking intently to my bestfriend. I know from that looks that he is somewhat attracted to her. So my bestfriend is lucky enough to be admired by all the gals outhere, especially by this boy I  told myself. Eventhough i felt a sharped pain near my left chest which I simply ignored.

I'm sorry fellows, I haven't updated in a while, I'm going through tough times that's why i'm really not on the mood to face my laptop or even typed on my phone. Hehehe
