The next day, Hyejin still come and visit Mrs Sim along with Jaeyun. She excitedly help Mrs Sim changing her hospital gown after bathing. And now, she peeled an apple for Mrs Sim while watching some shows on Netflix.

Yes, Mrs Sim still got a taste. She doesn't like watching television that hospital already prepared. To her, it's pretty boring to watch.

“Here, eat this first Mrs Sim. I'm guarantee Jaeyun will be here anytime soon.” she put a plate of apple slices on the table.

“Thank you, sweetheart. Go, wash your hands and join me watch this movie.” she caressed Hyejin's cheek with a bright smile on her face.

Happily, she washed her hands and went to Mrs Sim's bed. She took a seat at the edge of the bed while watching the movie. Sometimes, they will laughed at some funny scene and talked a bit about it.

Sometimes, she will take a glance at the clock hoping that someone open up the door and much better if that someone is Jaeyun. But, almost thirty minutes, Jaeyun not arrive yet.

The movie already ended and Hyejin got nothing to do so she decided to bring Mrs Sim for a walk. Gladly, the weather is not too warm and not too cold. It's cozy and suitable for a morning walk.

“Mrs Sim, what if, one day when I'm already prepare to tell Jaeyun about my feeling... Do you think, what is his reaction?” she asked randomly.

“As his mother, I don't know what is his reaction will be but if that person who tells 'i love you' is you then he will be the happiest man in the world.” she replied with a warm smile.

Hyejin tried to hide her smile but failed. She's too happy to heard that but at the same time is so nervous. Still finding the right time to confess her feeling to Jaeyun. This time, no egoistic and selfishness.

“My son love you so much, Hyejin. He won't let you go of his grips for the second time. He won't repeat the same mistake although I know sometime he acts like an emotional teenager but trust me, he do it for you.” she said and Hyejin slowly nodded.

“Most importantly, if he told you not to do something then you should listen to him. It's a warning.” she added.

Didn't let the topic went further, Mrs Sim wants to go to her ward back and Hyejin gladly help her. After they reached the ward, Diane already in Mrs Sim room and seems like she's waiting for them.

“Aunty, I'm searching for you everywhere! I thought you're going somewhere alone.” Diane reached Mrs Sim and slightly pushed Hyejin's hands.

Carefully, she guides Mrs Sim to her bed and help her sat down. After done, she turned around and look at Hyejin who just watching them. Diane scoffed seeing Hyejin calm face and crossed her arms.

“Do you think it's very appropriate to bring Mrs Sim out without doctor permission? What if her condition getting worse because of the weather? You don't know anything about her real condition. Are you going to take responsibility on—”

“Yes, I am. What's the matter with that, Doctor Lee?” she cuts her words with a cold voice, not accepting Diane accusations on her.

“Bold enough? I bet you never see Jaeyun got mad over someone's mistake. What do you think he won't mad at you if something happens to his mom? What position do you have in his family to making decisions like that? What are you to this family?” she still provoked Hyejin.

Hyejin almost laugh, she knows this type of game. It's not her first facing such as desperate girl who wanting boy's attention. She once like that and it was miserable and looks stupid.

Is she just hit puberty last month?

Why act so emotional?

Insecure over me?

“I'm pretty it's not a big deal to Jaeyun. Speaking about Mrs Sim's condition, she's getting better than yesterday that's why I decided to have a walk with her. Her doctor said, she can go home any sooner so I think nothing is wrong with that?” she answered with such an innocent expression.

“About my position, yes, I am no one in his family but I will never do anything stupid on someone's else mother. Besides, Mrs Sim ain't complaining instead she's having a great time with.” she added.

Diane glared at Hyejin, full of hatred. She doesn't like Hyejin at the very first meet. Her instinct never lie. Jaeyun is having someone else, another woman. She's so insecure.

Mrs Sim who listens to everything just smile softly. Satisfied watch and listen to Hyejin's response. She can't hide her proud face while leaned back, close her eyes to take a nap.
