"Father?"
"Father."
"Father!"
"Yes?" Shaamta switched from his observations and turned his head to the sharp-toothed triplets peeking from behind the entrance.
"Teach us?"
"Teach us."
"Teach us!"
"Will you stop talking like this?" Shaamta narrowed his eyes and nostrils in disapproval. "It's creepy."
The girls grinned in perfect synch and the six-eyed amalgamation broke apart, running off with growls of guttural laughter.
A wide grin stretched on his face as well, when no one saw him. This youngest trio took after him more than he ever imagined they might. And their fierceness was that of their mother. Their persistence, however, was that of Dorgu in his younger days.
Shaamta abandoned his important tasks, stood up and followed his daughters. A promise was a promise. They were learning at such high speed that even the most prominent warriors had a hard time dealing with such talented karyi. These three were so much fun.
