The practice of magic is a highly intellectual pursuit, requiring years of study and a deep understanding of the underlying principles. Magic is not merely a mystical force but a systematic application of knowledge and logic.

Channel and convert. No goes through without listening these words. After all, these are the first fundamentals a child must know.

As novices delve deeper into their studies, they uncover the diverse branches of magic.

Motion. Generate opposing forces to create levitation or use the principle of equal and opposite reactions to propulsion. Laws of physics are also the laws of magic, how things move, one could do so.

Thermo. Work with the principles of thermodynamics, with this mastery of the ability to control flames, freeze objects in an instant, or even absorb heat from their surroundings. But true mastery lies in self-control, choosing when to unleash the scorching power within and when to withhold it.

Waves. They can manipulate the very fabric of perception, transforming lights into illusions and sound waves into cacophonous chaos or tranquil serenity. In their hands, shadows become cloaks, and sunlight becomes both a tool and a weapon.

Energy. Just like in physics, the total energy in a closed system remains constant. How one manipulates depends on creativity, knowledege and potencial. To philosophers, it is a controversial notion, for the limitless bending of atoms brings forth both wonder and caution.

Quantum. The lucky bastards. Able to tap into the quantum realm, where probabilities and uncertainty reign, to influence outcomes or access hidden information, the use of wave-particle duality. At times of war, they are targets. Maybe not so lucky.
