Two years had passed since Marvin and Whizzer had been a thing and now they never even saw each other. A couple of months after the split Marvin tried to meet new people but none of them ended up working. Even if Jason could have managed to approve of them, sex was a nightmare. The whole time all he could think of was Whizzer. Whizzer Brown, the man had never left his mind. At this rate, Marvin was going to be alone forever. Recently though there was a new task at hand; planning Jason's bar mitzvah. Trina had proven to be extremely difficult to work with and planning was going nowhere. Despite yearning to have a lover at hand Marvin had since had the opportunity to spend much more time with his son whom was really turning out to be a nice young man. Though the two still had trouble even talking face to face. Marvin pulled into the parking lot of the baseball field. Backing the car into a space and turning it off, the door swung open as a figure appeared to get out. He locked the door and slid the keys into his pocket. As Marvin moved to the other side of the car his whole frame could be seen. He had lost some weight in those 2 years, his cheeks a little more sunken in and his stomach practically flat. The breakup had really hit him hard and despite having the comfort of two new friends who were always by his side. Marvin's fashion had gotten worse as well, barely getting dressed in the morning and wearing just khakis, a t-shirt, and a sweat jacket. He barely ties his shoes as well, and instead just tucked them in. Everyone else was already there sitting on the bleachers and his friends had left him a spot on the corner just behind Mendel. Looking up, Trina stared at him a little annoyed that he was last. Of course, she was annoyed, what was new? The two weren't on the best terms and arguing had become regular due to the bar mitzvah planning .
All of them sat there, conversing once in a while and cheering (although the cheering part was quite rare). As Jason went up to bat all 3 of his swings were strikes. Perhaps he is more like his father than one would assume. The smell of hotdogs and popcorn filled the air, but Marvin wasn't interested. Shifts at the office were long and even just leaving the house wasn't something he did often. A few batters later and teams switching sides a couple of times, Jason's team was losing. A cold breeze blew by and Marvin shivered a little, zipping up his jacket more. From behind the bleachers out walked Whizzer who was dressed in jeans, a white polo, a black leather jacket, and sunglasses. Damn, he hadn't lost his style for one second. The moment Marvin saw him he hid behind Charlotte- or at least tried. Marvin ran his fingers through his hair, trying to make it look nice.
Trina's eyes narrowed as she saw him as well, "What are you doing here?" Whizzer took his sunglasses off, slid them into his pocket, and raised an eyebrow.
"Jason invited me, so I came." He remarked, placing his hands on his hips. It was obvious he wasn't going to leave as he had a profound love for the boy, almost as if he was his own. But god Marvin couldn't get his eyes off him for even just a second. The hairline. Somehow he missed it.
"You're looking cuter than a doughnut." He couldn't help but blurt out, biting his lip a little. Whizzer rolled his eyes, taking a seat next to Trina and in front of Cordelia."Is he still... you know, queer?" Whizzer leaned in whispering to Trina, trying to keep his voice down. It didn't work though because Marvin heard every word. It made him want him even more than he could know. She mouthed the words 'I don't know?!" just before Marvin reached forward and tugged on the back of his leather jacket.
"Sit in front of me." He demanded, shooing away Trina and Mendel and pulling Whizzer even harder towards him. Really, he couldn't help himself. Marvin wanted to be close to him again. Close enough to smell him and see that stupid hairline, close enough to be able to just reach out and squeeze his cute little ass. After they had re-adjusted seats Whizzer looked back at Marvin with an annoyed expression. His feelings were still conflicted. He wanted Marvin so badly but things had gone so badly in the past. Marvin kept reaching forwards every few seconds, placing his fingers on the back of Whizzers head, just needing to touch him again. Whizzer was very annoyed at this point though and batted his hand away, trying to show he seriously wasn't playing around. But he couldn't stay mad, not at Marvin. He never was able to. As Jason came up to bat Whizzer got up from the bench and went up to him, giving him a high five.
