Chapter 3

*Flashback*
" ERIKA!!! GET BACK HERE!!!!" 6 year old Noah shouted.
"YOU GOTTA CATCH ME FIRST!!" 5 year old me yelled back. I looked back to find Morgan fallowing me.
"Morgan, Erika? Where did you go?" Noah asked curiously. Morgan and I were in the tree. He looked around for a little while and when he was right under me, Morgan gave me a hard push right onto Noah.
"Found you." he whispered in my ear making shivers go down my spine. We sat there for a few moments exactly where we landed. I got up and brushed myself off.
"You gotta catch me first." I whispered in his ear knowing that I could get away.
A few seconds later he said,"You bet I will." And we both took off running.
*End of Flashback*
" Hey Erika wait up a second." Noah said when he caught up to me. He put his arm on the locker next to me as if he was trying to trap me. He looked me straight in the eye long enough for me notice that his eyes change between a forest green that could melt any other girl and warm chocolate brown that makes some other girls go weak in the knees.
"Okay." I said looking up from my locker again. " What do you need?" I asked. He looked at me long and hard.
"Do you want a ride home? I live in Sullivynn too." he wanted to give me a ride home.
" Sure. You remember my address right?" He looked at me again and nodded.
" But first I was gonna grab something to eat wanna come?" He asked. I glanced at the clock and shrugged. Why not. He is one of my best friends. We started heading out. We went to Dairy Queen.
" Do you remember that time when you fell out of a tree onto me." We were laughing our heads off. I needed to go it was getting late.
"Hey I need to get home." I said.
"I will drive you." he said fallowing me out. I shrugged. Might as well, he lives in Sullivynn too. We walked to his truck in silence.
The ride home was silent, but a comfortable silence. He walked me to my door.
"I had a nice time tonight. Maybe we can hang out again some other time just like when we were kids." I said.
" Yeah hang out......just like old times." he said. He gave me hug and pulled back so our foreheads were almost touching. He is gonna kiss me. I have to stop him. I pulled back smiled and walked inside. He was gonna kiss me as much as I wanted him to I pulled away.
*Noah's POV*
I was gonna kiss her. That was a dumb ass move. I most likely scared her away. I slammed my hands against the steering wheel. I looked out the window I saw a small figure slip through the door. It was Erika. She looked around and went back inside. I really like her. I've liked her since we were little. I've loved everything about her. Her long dirty blonde hair, her ice blue eyes that seem to change colors, and everything else. She is perfect to me. All of the sudden there was a knock on my trucks window. I got out to find Erika standing there with her hair in loose waves.
" You forgot something." she said. I rapped my arms around her waist and kissed her. She tasted like mint and warmth. I felt fireworks throughout me. I never want to let her go.
*Erika's POV*
He kissed me. I felt fireworks throughout me. I put my hands in his hair. I never want to let him go.
