OPHELIA'S POV
Yesterday I was in the elevator with my new neighbor (which I still don't know his name). At least he talked to me right? Anyways I look at the time and the clock says 5:34. SHIT! I was supposed to take my lasagna out of the oven 20 minutes ago! I rush over to the oven and pull out the burned, sad looking lasagna. "Well, take-out it is" I order from my favorite sandwich shop a few blocks down.
I got tired of standing by the door waiting so I decide to go into the hallway to wait for my food. Another 10 minutes pass and it is way tiring waiting for my food, so I decide to sit against the wall out side of my apartment. But, of course my new neighbor comes out of the elevator and starts walking my way. He stops in front of his door, " Are you like locked out or something?" he arched his brow. I replied, "No", "Then why are you out here?", Why do have to be so nosy? I didn't actually say that but I almost did. "I'm waiting for my food to get here", "Can you not cook or something?" I'm done being nice to him, I just worked a photo shoot for a wedding all day, so the niceties are gone, "Whats with all the questions bud?". He shot me a look, "Lukas", "what?", "My name is Lukas, not 'bud'". I get a notification just as I'm about to respond, it says that my order did not go through and they are UN-able to refund me. I throw my head back against the wall and cover my eyes, completely forgetting that LUKAS is still standing there. " You good?", I sigh and respond, " yeah, my food order just got canceled that's all". I start to stand up to go back into my apartment, but before I can he stops me. " Why don't you just come and eat with me, I think I have some frozen pizzas or something". I really shouldn't and I should just go and eat a bowl of cereal, alone on my bed watching The Bachelor. But whatever spirit compelled me to say whats next should be fired, "Yeah, sure"
