After classes were over, it was lunch time. Me and Diego grabbed our chow and headed to our lil' hangout spot. I plopped down next to my boo Xavier and gave him a smooch. The school lunch was straight garbage, but damn, I was starving."Yo, y'all doin' somethin' after school?" Anthony asked, sippin' on his Monster drink. Dude always brought his own homemade lunch, and I was hella jealous just lookin' at it.
"Nah, I gotta hit up the library to grab some books for my classes," Raven said. She a real nerd, but she kept us afloat through all them school years.
The rest of us shook our heads. "Yo, how 'bout swingin' by my crib later? We can turn up and invite some peeps," Camila suggested.
We all agreed, 'cept Raven. We kept munchin', when outta nowhere, Diego straight up dumped his tray and bounced. And you know what? Raven started chasin' after him like there was no tomorrow.
Camila rolled her eyes. "She always be actin' thirsty for attention, like she gotta leave that boy alone." I nodded my head in agreement. "For real though, I don't think he even feelin' her like that 'cause I told him she got a crush on him earlier, and he was like, 'Nah, not interested.'"
Anthony let out a sigh. "Well, he missin' out, 'cause Raven lookin' fine and she smart as hell." Xavier laughed. "Damn, sound like you tryna get at her." Anthony shrugged. "I mean, I would, but she into Diego, so I ain't tryna step on no toes."
Xavier shrugged. "You right, bro. I lucked out with Desi," he said, glancin' at me and makin' me blush. "Y'all some corny fools. I'm out, catch y'all later," Anthony said, bouncin' outta there.
"Bae, let's dip. Lemme treat you to somethin'," Xavier said, plantin' a kiss on my lips. "Later," I replied, clearin' my tray. "I'ma head to my class now. Y'all comin'?" I asked, gettin' up.
"Nah, I still gotta finish eatin'," Xavier said. "See you later, bestie!" Camila chimed in, takin' my spot next to Xavier.
"Aight, catch y'all later," I said as I dipped out.
---
School was finally over, and I hopped in Diego's whip, cruisin' to the party. Anthony was in the back, puffin' on somethin'.
We finally reached Camila's crib, and Xavier was already there, along with a whole crew of peeps. It was gettin' dark, 'round 6 pm or so.
"Yo, bae," I said, walkin' up to Xavier and plantin' a kiss on his lips. "What's good, shawty? I been missin' you," he replied, kissin' me back. Dude tasted like booze and smoke. Ew.
"Well, I'm here now, so let's hit the dance floor," I said, pullin' him along by the hands. "Bet," he said.
We started gettin' down on the dance floor, and the party was poppin'. Everyone bustin' out their signature moves, and I even started twerkin'.
The party wrapped up quick, and me, Xavier, and Diego decided to crash at Camila's crib. Anthony had to bounce 'cause Raven needed a ride home.
We all chilled in the living room, 'bout to watch a movie. Me and Xavier snuggled up on the couch, while Diego kicked it on the floor, wrapped up in a blanket. Camila took a seat next to him.
"What y'all wanna watch?" she asked. "Let's peep the new Barbie flick," I suggested. "Hell nah, that's weak," Xavier chimed in. "Let's watch some scary sh*t."
"Word," Camila agreed, scrollin' through the horror section on Netflix. I sat up on the couch, glanced over at Diego. Dude was quiet as hell, and it was gettin' on my nerves.
"You good, man?" Xavier asked him. Diego looked up and nodded. "Yeah, I'm cool."
Alright, whatever he say.
Anyways, we ended up sippin' more, and everybody got straight wasted.
The next mornin', I woke up outside, sprawled out on the lawn. Diego and Xavier were next to me, and Camila was chillin' on top of her whip.
This sh*t was wild. I quickly bounced up and called my moms to come scoop me. Ain't never partyin' at Camila's crib again. My head was poundin', and I couldn't remember a damn thing.
