"Have you heard? The Ryuguji family are hosting a ball tonight, and a lot of nobles are invited." a villager spoke, "and why is that?" one of them asked.

"It was said to see if the princess can find a mate during the ball."

"You coming Mikey?"
Mitsuya asked as Mikey hums, "I'll catch up." "You sure?" Mikey faces him and nods as he sighs. "Alright, be there okay? Draken is expecting us to be there." Mikey hums in response as Mitsuya hums and leaves with the others. Mikey looks at the outfit Mitsuya had sewn for him as Mikey touched it gently.

"Should I go?"
Mikey mumbles, "Yeah, you should." a voice spoke as Mikey huffs and turns around to see his half-brother, The Prince of Tenjiku, Izana.

"Why are you here? I thought you already went to the castle?" the blonde asked, "I saw your horse was still here, so I stopped by." Mikey sighs and Izana chuckles. "So you still live here? Why not come back to Tenjiku with me?" Izana asked.

"I'll pass on that, but you know I'll visit. I just prefer to live here peacefully." he says and sighs as he looks at his outfit again.

"I don't know, should I go? It's been 7 years since I last saw her, and back then we were like 15 year olds back then." Mikey says as Izana huffs, "I'm sure she'd be happy to see you. Especially Haruchiyo, he's like a puppy when you're around."

Mikey chuckles and looks at his brother and nods.

"Alright, wait for me and let me be ready."

As both brothers arrived at the castle, everyone was amazed at how handsome and elegant they looked.

"Your Majesty."
Kakucho says, bowing to the two as Izana hums. "The others are waiting for you at our table." he says as Izana looks at Mikey, "Wanna join us?"

"Hmm I'll find my friends first then I'll catch up."

Izana nods as Kakucho escorts him to where his subordinates were. Mikey looks around as he makes his way towards where the cocktails were and gets one, he soon spots you beside Draken as you sit on your throne. Mikey blushes as he drinks from his drink.

'She never changed.'
Mikey thought and smiled as he made his way towards the castle's gardens. As Mikey finds himself at the center of the garden he takes another sip from his drink as he starts to hum and slow dance on his own.

He hums softly as he danced with the wind, imagining like he was dancing with someone.

"Where's Y/n?"
Draken asked Mitsuya who shrugged at him, "And also where's Mikey thought he would be here too?" he added.

"I think he's with Tenjiku, he came here with Izana earlier."
Chifuyu answers, "And don't worry about y/n, she went to the garden." Nahoya adds, Draken sighs as he just joined his friends.

As y/n walks around the garden, she hears someone humming softly and the soft rattle of the grass below. She follows where the sound came from and soon sees a blonde male, slow dancing on his own. Y/n watches in amazement as she watches his movements, how elegant he was and how swift his movements were.

As she looks closely, she recognizes the blonde, it was someone he knew back then. She made her way towards him and smiled.

"Manji?"
she calls out, Mikey stops dancing and looks behind him to see y/n smiling. He flinches and quickly bows, "Your Majesty!" he says in a quick way making the h/c girl chuckle.

"Manji no need to bow, and just call me y/n." she says as Mikey looks at her blushing as he nods.

They looked at each other as their eyes locked with each other.

"Quit it, South."
Mikey says huffing as South looks at him laughing, "What you gonna do about it twerp?" he says smirking as South and his friends were bullying Haruchiyo as Mikey gritted his teeth ready to attack the male when someone suddenly kicked South making him take a few steps back.

Everyone was shocked including him as he saw you.

"What?! A girl?!"
South yells as he was about to charge at her when Draken showed up, "Touch her and I'll never let you and your friends here in the kingdom again." Draken says glaring at him as South scoffs and glares at them before leaving.

Draken sighs and looks at you then at Mikey and Haruchiyo.

"You two okay?"
he asked as Y/n turns to face them,

"Yes, we're fine. Thanks to y/n." Haruchiyo says as Y/n smiled.

"You should learn how to fight Haru, my brother can teach you!" Y/n says cheerfully as Haruchiyo smiles and bows.

"Thank you for the offer y/n."
he says as Mikey looks at you amazed. Draken smiled as he patted your head, you smiled back and looked at Mikey, and locked eyes with him.

Both of you blushed before looking away, both flustered.

"Wanna start training tomorrow, Haruchiyo?" Draken says as he nodded in response as Draken hums and left them. Y/n looks at Mikey and smiles.

"I'm y/n."
"Manjiro.. But you can call me Mikey."
"Hmm, I'll call you Manji."
she says as Haruchiyo chuckles, "Cute nickname, Mikey." he teases as Mikey blushes and huffed at his friend.

"From now on I'll call you that!"
Y/n says and Mikey just sighs and nodded at her.

"Why are you here?"
She asked the blonde as Mikey hums, "I just wanted some fresh air." he replied.

Y/n joined the male he took the male's hand, Mikey smiled as he pulled her close and held her waist as they started to dance together.

"You're beautiful."
Mikey mumbles blushing as y/n giggles, her cheeks red at the compliment. "Thank you, and you look lovely in this suit." you spoke smiling.

Both of you giggled as you continued to dance above the stars.

"Told you they like each other."
Ran says as Shion paid him as he sighs while Ran grinned. Draken and the others watched back, looking at awe at you two.

"They look great together, you know that."
Mitsuya says and Draken nods. "Yeah."

You two soon stopped dancing, smiling at each other as Mikey held your hands gently and looked at you.

"Y/n Ryuguji.. Princess.. Will you please let me court you?"
Mikey says, nervously waiting for your reaction as you blushed and smiled at him.

"Of course Manjiro Sano. I will let you court me."
you replied as Mikey smiled happily jumping up and down as you chuckled, Mikey smiled and you smiled back as you two held hands and looked up at the stars admiring the view.
