My Quirkless Hero (an mha alternate story)

Chapter 1: The Quirkless one

Long ago, life on earth was normal. That would change however, when "quirks" or "meta-abilities" as they once were called, mysteriously emerged.

No one knows exactly how it started, but the first case of a meta ability appearing was when a child who was born in China started to shine brightly. What soon followed were more and more people being born with meta abilities.

Many people speculated that meta abilities had been created by a disease carried by rats, although there never was any evidence for that to be the real reason as to why meta abilities began to exist.

It was soon discovered later on that the meta abilities were actually in fact biological, and not caused by something otherworldly or by a disease. You could identify when someone would have a Quirk by analyzing whether or not they had an extra joint in their pinky toe. People with one joint would develop a Quirk, while having two joints usually indicated that the person is Quirkless.

At some point, a mother had begun to use the term "quirk" for her son that had been heavily discriminated against because of his power, which soon the term would be used as an official name for the abilities instead of "meta ability".

However, not all was good when quirks began to be used. What soon followed was an outbreak of crime with villains who had quirks, leading to huge amounts of chaos within the world. This is what led vigilantes to exist, which would soon carry over to the creation of heroes themselves. Along with that came new laws that would restrict usage of quirks in order to ensure the safety of the public, with only professional heroes being allowed to mainly use their quirks for their jobs.

Over the course of the years, more and more of the population would begin to grow to have quirks, with 80 percent of the population now having a quirk. The other 20 percent were just normal people. That is where our story begins, where a young boy known as Izuku Midoriya, born quirkless, would fight to show that anyone can be a hero, and it didn't matter whether you had a quirk or not.

Izuku Midoriya, current age 4.....

"Stop kacchan, you're hurting him!" Said Izuku. He was standing in front of a boy, who was crying and some bits of his hair were on fire. Izuku had been hanging out at the park playground he would always go to with his father until he heard some sort of loud bang sounds coming from a distance, and decided to go check it out. His father had gone to a snack bar to get some food for the both of them, and unfortunately hadn't noticed just yet that Izuku was gone.

"Or what huh? What are you gonna do about it? I wanna see you try!" Said the other kid with blonde spiky hair. Explosions began to form in his palm, and now Izuku was the one receiving the explosions. The boy who was being picked on originally had now gotten up and left.

After a couple of seconds, Izuku was now laying on the floor wincing whilst having tears in his eyes.

"See, this is why you're called Deku, cause you're a useless nobody. Apart from that, you can't even fight back! And you claim you want to be a hero, what a joke!" Said Kacchan as he walked away. Izuku simply lay on the floor, as he began to cry even more.

After a while of crying and laying on the floor, Izuku finally stood up and cleaned himself up. As he walked back to the play area, a tall man with fuzzy green hair came rushing over to him, dropping the food he was holding.

"Izuku what happened to you?!?" Asked the man as he knelt down to check the young boy.

"Dad, I was attacked by a group of bullies all of a sudden, but they ran off. Don't worry, they're not here anymore." Said Izuku whilst half lying. However, his dad frowned.

"I feel like you aren't telling me what completely happened. How did this actually happen Izuku?"

Izuku simply looked down at the ground before speaking.
