<==[DAYTIME, A MONTH AFTER THE SECOND D-DAY==>

<==LOCATION: SOMEWHERE NORTH OF THE DEATH FOREST]==>

It was a dark night when darkness had covered the sky as a simple wooden wagon moved swiftly along a hidden trail through the forest while its pursuers including 10 men in black robes on horses are gradually catching up. The wagon driver are just a young man accompanied by an old man, but both are skilled ones, who evaded lots of attacks from the pursuers, from ramming to doing the zic zac move. One of them seems to be a mage who fires a fireball straight at the front wheel which luckily hits. The wooden wagon, losing one of its wheels, flips to the side and slides along the road for a few meters before stopping completely. Seeing their prey in such a state, the pursuers finally catch up to it and begin their slaughter, but they'll never know some terrible thing was awaiting for'em.

<==[4 DAYS AGO, NIGHT TIME - LOCATION: APRAINIA EMPIRE]==>

In a throne room, King Ludius the 34th is sitting on his throne all proud and mighty. Beside him are his maids and royal guards; the royal guards who stand firmly are equipped with shiny golden armor and swords made from Adamantine - the rarest material according to them. Queen Natia Tufa, unfortunately, passed away a few years ago due to an unknown sickness, leaving behind Prince Paul and Princess Eula, both are now in their 20s.

Back to the king, standing in front of him an old fat nobleman (a.k.a his adviser)

"Your majesty, was it too harsh to lock him up in the dungeon?" the adviser asked, not because he felt sympathetic, just pure curiosity.

"Hmm? What? You feel bad for him, sir Holden?" the King asked as sweat started to pour from Holden's face

"NO!....I mean no, your majesty! I wouldn't dare feel sympathetic for that bastard but the opposite. You know everybody in this kingdom doesn't like him" Holden quickly said.

"Okay, just calm down, my friend. I know, I was just asking, I don't like him either. If I could, I would have thrown him into the dungeon a long time ago. I just need a reason to do so" King Ludius calmly replied

Holden 'Ohh' lightly in relief but it's cut short when the king continued

"Okay Holden, I don't call you here just to chit-chat. Do you have anything to report about this failed expedition?"

"Yes, Your Majesty. As much as we have gathered information from the survivors, they said something like the 'clown' (a.k.a captain Ryan) would say. Hundreds of iron ships shooting light arrows, iron dragons from all shapes wreak havoc on our lines, and .... the Kraken has come back as they claimed"

"The Kraken part seems to be believable. It's been a hundred years since we last killed a Kraken, this must be its child. The other parts sound like we are at war with the first and second civilization countries, only those countries would have those ships, what are they even doing in the South?"

"Your majesty, that's not all of the report. The survivors also said they spotted the demon army who controlled those ships. Now this part worries me, if it was them then we have to do something about it"

The king signed as he thought "It's been 2000 years since the death of the demon lord. Look like we keep them out for too long"

"Your majesty?" Holden called the King, making him snap back to reality but he remained silent for a few minutes before he spoke.

"I think we should reactivate our summoning project earlier than expected"

"What?!" Holden was surprised, the king wanted to summon heroes
