It was a rainy Sunday in Tennessee which helped a little with the hot weather recently. Elvis was relaxing in the foyer and living room area of the mansion with his friends and of course his baby girl. "Got it!" Charlie announced as he held up Olivia to display the new diaper he had put on her, proud to show off that he had finally done it correctly

"It's on backwards, Waterhead." Elvis pinched the bridge of his nose, Charlie taking a closer look to see if he was being honest or pulling his leg

"Oh..." He trailed off

"You look like a sad puppy, Charles." Lamar laughed at seeing his excitement fade away from the realization of his mistake

Elvis took Olivia from Charlie and changed her out of the fiasco diaper for a proper new one on the carpet of the living room floor. "There you go, baby." He smiled down at his best girl before handing her back to her uncle Charlie who was nearby on the long white couch. Olivia however began to fuss at not being with her dad since she was starting to become attached at the hip

"It's ok, I'm right here. You can see me." Elvis assured her and walked to the music room, sitting down at the piano bench to play some gospel songs. He was in the middle of singing Peace In The Valley with his friends when they heard the front door open, bringing their session to a halt. He looked over at the Colonel when he entered the room with a young couple who he had never seen before. A tall man with short brown hair and hazel eyes dressed in a white shirt and light brown pants and dress shoes. The woman was average height with shoulder length straight brown hair and brown dressed in a red and black poodle skirt accompanied by a pair of black high heels. "What's going on? Who are they?" He glanced at Charlie for a second who returned Olivia to her father

"This is Brad and Melinda. They're here to pickup their child."

Their child?

"What do you mean?"

"They adopted your girl, Mr. Presley. No thanks to your good friends Red and Sonny who agreed with me that this was the best choice."

Rage filled his eyes and his jaw clenched, finding it hard to contain how pissed off he was. "You went behind my back?!" He hissed, outraged

"You know you've been struggling, E. We were just doing you a favor." Red shrugged

Elvis glanced at the couple who sensed the awkward tension and had taken a cautious step backwards. He couldn't tell them no since it was a hard thing for him to do, being the gentleman that his parents raised him to be. But he didn't want to give up Olivia either though it seemed he had no choice. He was backed into a corner with no way out. Elvis looked down at the seven month old infant who was sucking contently on her pacifier. He slowly handed her over to her new family who were ecstatic and smiling at Olivia while also getting a few laughs out of her which shattered Elvis' heart, to know that these people were a great match for his baby girl. She started to get upset at her father not holding her

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. I love you." Elvis choked back a lump forming in his throat, feeling helpless that he couldn't comfort his child by taking her away from the strangers who were now entrusted in her care. He glared daggers at the Colonel and his two friends that betrayed him, motioning for them to follow him as he stood up and walked to the kitchen. There would be hell to pay

Joe, Charlie and Jerry covered their ears while Lamar got up from his chair and went outside to talk to Marty. "You goddamn bastards took my only child away from me!!! You ungrateful, sneaky sons of bitches! I want you all out of my house and don't ever come back!" He exploded at this point though the three men standing across from him didn't react, they were motionless and didn't have a single ounce of regret on their faces
