I woke to my mom calling for me to wake up for the first day of school. I got up wiped my eyes and used the bathroom. After I was done I walked to my closet pulling out a pink crop top, blue ripped jeans, and my pink dunks. I took a shower and after putting on lotion, did my hair into curls, did my makeup, sprayed perfume added some jewelry, and looked at myself in the mirror. I grabbed my phone, charger, and a backpack walking down the stairs. "Hey Mommy," I said smiling "Hey honey you need a ride?" she asked "Sure that would be nice," I said walking to open the leaving it open my mom walked behind me locking the door and going down the stairs. We both got in the car and I connected to the aux playing "Forever: Lil Baby, Fridayy" Mom and I start singing the intro to the song while dancing
"How we get so deep so fast? Bae, stop playin' I'll beat ur ahh You be on some toxic shit but I cannot get off this bitch, I Haven't seen you in three months, I miss you, can I see you, bae? Every time I see one of your pictures, that shit drives me, crazy Girl, I know you miss a nigga" I rapped as we pulled up to the school. My mom kissed my head "Bye hun have a good first day" she said smiling "Bye thanks mama" I said while getting out of the car feeling nervous about everything.
"What would they think of her?" "Will she be accepted in her new school" "Will she be brave enough to do this?"
I walked into the school looking for the office to pick up my Schedule, I finally get trying to get all my confidence to ask for it "Uh Hi" I said to the lady "Hey how may I help you?" she replied "I'm here for my schedule" I said "One more time?" She questioned "My schedule," I said louder "What's your name sweetie?" she asked "Marina Ella Gonzales," I said as she handed me the paper I smiled and said a quick thanks and headed to my first class kinda just looking around for room numbers. I finally found my first class which was English class.
