"How can you eat this?", Volkan, the infamous personal guard and assistant of King Julian, asked me, sounding annoyed. I laughed and ignored him, carrying on with my work. My work involved enjoying delicious food.
'The food of the human world is the best'
I, Bridget, the food-loving personal guard and assistant to my Queen Regina of Laqua, was enjoying a dessert called Ice-cream at the cafe near Prince Benjamin's company. In our world, Elantis, we never had dessert called Ice-cream before.
"I'm thinking of opening an ice cream parlor in Elantis", I suggested. Volkan looked displeased. I smiled because I liked to annoy my fated partner. I put a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth. He didn't want to swallow it, but he had to. His eyes sparkled, but he didn't open his mouth.
'Of course, I know he has a sweet tooth and always craves sweets'
I called for a waiter and ordered 2 more ice creams of different flavors.
"Sorry, guys. I'm late", a new and well-known voice appeared. Enzo, the dangerous dragon and personal guard of Prince Benjamin. "Hope I didn't interrupt your date", he added. I laughed, and Volkan rolled his eyes in annoyance. "Well, from today, I won't be called single. I found my girl", he informed. Not gonna lie, I was so happy for him.
"Human girl?", Volkan asked. He nodded. Enzo exclaimed with excitement, "I invited her here. She will be here soon. We'll tour the city, because Prince is busy with Princess, and King Julian has plans for Queen Regina. They told me to inform you two that you are free to do things you like".
I became confused.
'Why does King Julian have plans for Queen Regina?'
"What's going on between King Julian and Queen Regina?", Volkan asked, enjoying his coffee flavored ice-cream. "They are fated partner", Enzo replied, ordering an Iced Latte. Hearing this, our jaws dropped on the table.
