Never Stop Believing

''Amelia get your suitcases! I can't carry them on my own!'' Brian shouted from downstairs.

Brian was my brother and he was the popular guy that every girl wanted to have.He has light brown hair and green-grey eyes and he is 6'1 and  quite well-built since he is a football player,but unfortunately this year he would go to college in Boston cause he got a scholarship there.I would be on my own this year at school..I wouldn't have someone to protect me..I will miss him..but at least I wouldn't have him yell at me constantly.

''Fine I am coming!'' I told him and headed downstairs.We just came back from our summer holidays in Hawaii and I have to admit that it was way better than I expected it to be.As I made myself to the living room I saw my brother struggling to carry one of my suitcases and I started laughing.

''What?'' he asked me furious.

''I was wondering how you managed to get into the football team when you are obviously not strong enough'' I replied to him just to tease him.He looked at me disapprovingly and continued carrying my suitcases.When he went upstairs I started laughing non stop.

''What's so funny hun?'' my mom asked me curiously.

My mom,or Eve for her friends, was a stunning woman in her mid 30s.She had long brown hair and crystal blue eyes that looked like the ocean.She was approximately 5'7 and every girl would be jealous of her body.

''Nothing mum..I was just teasing Brian again'' I told her and smiled like a fool.

''I can imagine..take your suitcases in your room and then you can do whatever you want'' She told me and made her way to the kitchen.I grabbed my two other suitcases and they were pretty heavy..Brian was right..when I finally reached my room I was exhausted.I just layed on my bed to remember how it felt...I was sleeping for three months in a hotel room in Hawai..I missed my room where I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted.I started reminiscing and I slowly fell asleep.

~Two hours later~

I thought that I was dreaming..I heard his voice..I felt a hand caressing my cheek and I stirred under it..wait..am I still dreaming or he is in here?I opened my eyes to see his beautiful face close to mine..He was really here...

''What are you doing here?'' I asked him with a husky voice

''Your brother called me to come by and I came to say hi but you were asleep'' He replied to me with a smirk on his face.

''Um..then..hi'' I said to him awkwardly..He had never done that before

''Hi to you too Amelia'' he replied to me and headed out of my room.

The guy that was in here was my crush since 6th grade..Josh..my brother's best friend..they were together since they were born since mine and his mum were close friends...He was like Greek god..He brown hair and amazing green-blue eyes that could captivate you with just one look...He was the typical popular football player with a toned body..We were pretty close too but he was acting around me like if I was his little sister.

I stood up and got changed into a pair of shorts,a white t-shirt and my favorite white converse.I applied a little bit of mascara just to make my eyes pop..When I was satisfied with my looks I went downstairs to the living room..I entered silently and my brother and Josh didn't notice me...I tip toed to the kitchen since I was really hungry but I staggered and fell flat on the ground with a loud thud...I groaned and I tried to get up but I couldn't..Great what else could happen?

Brian helped me get up and as usual he started yelling at me for not being careful and blah blah blah...I learnt with the years to block out his voice and just relax...Someone shook me violently and I saw Josh with the corner of my eye laughing...

''What do you want Brian?'' I asked me calmly

''You never listen to me!'' he told me exasperated

''I dont listen to you cause I am fine'' I told him disapprovingly since he was making a scene in front of Josh even though Josh was pretty used to us fighting..Brian stormed off to the door when the door bell rang and I was all alone with Josh..perfect...

''I am sorry that every time you come here I fight with my idiot brother'' I told him

''Its okay..I am used to it by now..and he is not an idiot..he is just overprotective..thats all..he just wants to protect you from not getting hurt..physically or emotionally..I would do the same if I was in his shoes''

''Well you might be right but he is really annoying-'' and before I finish my sentence a blonde girl was hugging Josh...and then she kissed him..I wanted to rip her head off for touching Josh..

''Claire calm down..you haven't seen me for two days..'' he told her..so apparently her name was Claire..

''Sorry babe but I wanted really bad to kiss you'' she answered to him ans started smiling..

''Oh I forgot..Amelia this is my girlfriend Claire and she is gonna be at your school this year..She came from New York and she will need someone to guide her and stuff like that'' he told me enthusiastically

Girlfriend?He had a girlfriend? and he wanted me to be her friend?What worse could happen?I stood up as I felt my eyes water and replied to him that I would gladly guide her and stuff...I walked out of the kitchen and headed to my room with my head bended..I lost him..he found a girlfriend and he was obviously happy with her...I should just get over him and not get my hopes up cause he will never be mine..Never...
