Tzuyu grows frustrated and angry at Rosé for not visiting her for two days.

The Call That Shakes Her

Rosé barely stepped into her office when her phone vibrated.

Tzuyu.

Her fingers tightened around the device.

She had been so caught up in everything—the unexpected tension with Jennie, her father’s warnings, Mr. Kim’s suspicions—

That she hadn’t seen Tzuyu in two days.

A sharp sigh left her lips as she answered.

"Where have you been?" Tzuyu’s voice was sharp, lacking its usual softness.

Rosé ran a hand through her hair.

"I’ve been busy."

"Busy?" Tzuyu scoffed. "Too busy to even call me? To even send a text?"

Rosé exhaled heavily.

"Tzuyu, you know how things are. I—"

"No, Rosé. This is different."

Her voice carried an edge of anger.

"You always find time for me. Always. But suddenly, you’re too busy?"

Rosé shut her eyes.

She hated when Tzuyu got like this.

"I’ll see you tonight."

"Don’t make promises you can’t keep."

The line went dead.

Rosé clenched her jaw, throwing her phone onto the desk.

For the first time…

She felt frustrated.

Not just with Tzuyu.

Not just with Jennie.

But with herself.

Jennie’s Silent Investigation

Meanwhile, in the mansion, Jennie sat in Rosé’s study.

Alone.

Her fingers brushed against Rosé’s books, the papers stacked neatly on her desk.

There were no clues.

But Jennie knew.

Rosé was with someone.
