"Mom, are you sure about staying at our house? You can stay at my penthouse for awhile, it's near with Hana's university?" Jaeyun suggest as he helps Hyejin packed his mom's stuffs.

"I will be fine, Jaeyun." she replied yet Jaeyun still ask. "I know, but don't you think for a few days or maybe weeks? Hana and I can take a look for you."

He stole a glance at Hyejin who just stay silent since the moment he stepped into the room. She didn't speak or greet him, just minding her own business.

Did something happen?

Jaeyun eagerly want to know what exactly happened. Yesterday, one of his invertor wanted to see him so he decided to come late but when he arrived only Hana taking care of his mom. His mom said, she already left.

"I can stay at your penthouse but with one condition. I want Hyejin come every dinner with us. How is that sound?" she suggested and Hyejin's attention all on her.

"That is a good idea, mom! I agree with that one! Oh, Hyejin, you don't mind about that, right?" he asked with a pair of puppy eyes and Hyejin slowly nodded.

After done packaging, Jaeyun immediately drove back to his penthouse with Hyejin and his mom. He asked his driver to take care of Hyejin's car.

During the ride, Hyejin still silent and not talking with Jaeyun. He wants to hold her hand but realised his mom probably sees everything then he stop. Noticing the sign, Mrs Sim speaks.

"I'm taking a short nap. Wake me up if we arrive." hearing that, Jaeyun slow down the speed.

His hand grabbed Hyejin's and as usual interwines their hands. The moment their hands interwines but Hyejin did pushed away, he knows something is wrong.

She's not grumpy today?

Is she have a problem?

He left a few kisses on her hand meanwhile his other hand controls the steering wheel. Hyejin looks at her side when Jaeyun nonstop kiss her hand.

She melted and she admits it. She likes the way Jaeyun hold her hands. She likes his warm hands.

If it's not because of your mom,

I already make you stop the car,

And... no, it's not the right time.

"Where is my room? I need to rest now." Mrs Sim asked when she stepped into the penthouse.

"I will show it to you. Come and follow me, mom." Jaeyun pulled his mom's hand towards the lift, leaving Hyejin at the living room.

After ten minutes, Jaeyun went to the living room. He saw Hyejin sat on the sofa while spacing out, looking outside. He took a seat next to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder but Hyejin scooted away from him.

Yes, something isn't right!

"Do you have any problem? You didn't speak since we back from the hospital? Something is bothering you, hmm?" he asked while his thumb caressed her cheek.

"No." she answered but Jaeyun wasn't satisfied. "You know, you're a bad liar sweet girl."

Hyejin groaned, then she stood up wanted to leave but Jaeyun way faster than her. He pulled her hand so she end up landed on his lap. Hyejin was startled when Jaeyun lifted her body just to fix her position.

And now, she straddles him with both of her hands linked around his neck. If other people watch it from afar, they thought it's just two people making love at the living room because of the angle and the position are very intimate.

"Something is bothering you."

"Nothing is bothering me."

Jaeyun's hands strokes her exposed thighs, not in sexual way, only gentle stroke. He could feels her body shivering.

"You lied to me, hmm? Please tell me what is the thing that bothering your mind. It is me?" he asked again while his fingers drew some random thing on her thighs.

"No, not you Jaeyun." she said while looks away.

Jaeyun furrowed his eyebrows, holding her chin so she could face him again. His other hand went to her waist, pulled her body closer until their forehead touched. Hyejin gasped with the sudden mood change from Jaeyun.

She bite her lips, "are you mad at me?"

"Yes, if you keep insisting of telling me what's going on now. I'm so worried about you and I miss you since yesterday. I thought I want to hangout with you today but seems like you're not in a good mood." he replied.

"I'm sorry, Jaeyun. Everything becomes too emotional to me lately and I don't know why. And yesterday, I had a little fight with your girl best friend about your mom condition. The things she said was right but I'm too sensitive." she explained.

Hyejin closed her eyes, prevents her tears from coming out but it's hard to handle. She don't like Diane. Her presence is like a huge wall for her to get back with Jaeyun again.

Because she realised,

Diane likes Jaeyun.

"Baby, don't cry please." he left a gentle kiss on her pinkish lips, stay low-key with his lips movement.

Hyejin didn't hesitated to kiss him back. Fingers running through his hair, expressing her feeling. She gasped when Jaeyun fixed her position again but this time their body became closer.

"Jaeyun..." she gasped again.

"I don't know what she said to you, but, one thing you should know..." he stopped there and cupped her face.
