As me and Owari walk to my house she suddenly grabs my hand holding it. I slightly blush a little but I continue walking. "We can teach you to fight tomorrow. Rest up so your side doesn't hurt anymore. If hiyoko tries anything just call me okay? Let me give you my phone number so we could maybe chat?.. Here!!" She grabs a paper out her bag and writes her number handing it to me. I grab it smiling and nodding. "Ah thank you Owari.." "Mikan please just call me akane!" I look at her suprised. No one has ever asked me to call them by their first name.. It felt.. Nice? "Oh of course thank you.. Akane!" "Why are you saying thank you"

"Oh well.. people always tell me to call them by their last name so I just call people their last names.." "Really? That is kinda rude. Just call them their real name it is not like other people don't!" "Oh alright.." I smile at akane. I will start calling people by their first names!  

We had finally made it to my house. We talked the whole way.. that is why it felt longer to walk even if it just took 10 minutes.. "I'll see you tomorrow.. thanks for walking with me..!" She smiles at me and gives me a hug "WELL BYE MIKAN! SEE YA TOMORROW!" she runs off. I turn to my door and head inside.

The next morning I get ready for the day I look in my phone case forgetting akane gave me her number.. It feels so weird calling her by her first name.. I need to get used to it though! I put her phone number into my phone and make her a contact. I called it "Akane Owariiii" since that's her name.. 

After that I put my cardigan on I grabbed my bag put my phone in it. Grabbed my houe keys and left locking the door behind me. Once I had made it to school I went inside and opened my locker. "Ah hello Mikan!" I turn to see.. nagito? "Oh uh.. Hi nagito." "Nagito? I swear I have never heard you call me my first name that is first! Are you feeling hopeful today?" He asked. I had turn back to my locker putting my stuff in there "I guess? Akane told me I should start calling people by their first names.. so I am trying it out.. sorry if you don't want me to call you nagito I can still call you komaeda!" he laughed "Mikan don't worrryyyy it is fine. That is very hopeful of you to do. Because akane said so? Hmm why did you listen to her? Me, hajime, and chiaki have been tell you. what you have a cursh? thats also hopefull!"

my face turns red as I slam my locker shut "AH OF COURSE NOT!.." Nagito laughs at me and gets hajimes attention "Nagito what is it?" Nagito points to me while I hide my face "Our friend here has a crush on akane~" Hajime looks confused and then surprised at what nagito said "Wait really? Mikan you should invite her to sit with us at lunch!" "I guess I will.. BUT I DONT LIKE HER!" Nagito and hajime giggle "Yeah sure mikan haha" I take my books and walk off "She is in so much denial right now." "You're acting like you weren't like this before hajime!" 

In class I sit in the back I open my book as I wait for the rest of the class to come. I look up and see hiyoko walk in she looks at me angrily but she can't do anything because mahiru is right there.. thank god... it isn't like I hate her it just hurts getting pushed everyday or almost every hour. I still have to thank her..

TIME SKIP TO LUNCH BC IT WOULD BE BORING AS HELLLL

I grab my phone out and send a text akane telling her she could sit with us. "Hey uhm you can sit at the table with me and my friends today.." I put my phone away and sit next to chiaki "Hey mikan! How have you been?" I smiled "Hi chiaki..! I have been good..What about you?" "Well that is good to hear.. Same as always I'm sleepy from staying up hehe" "You really need to sleep! It will ruin your health!" Someone sat next to me it was.. AKANE! "HEY MIKAN!" "Oh hi Akane..!" She had started to literally tear the food apart into her mouth. "AHH AKANE DON'T EAT TOO FAST IT COULD MESS WITH YOUR HEALTH!!?.." I looked at her worried "Mikan she will be fine.." I take breaths "AH sorry!!.."
