Chapter 13

After the show Loren is in her dressing room packing when her phone rings and she sees Eddie's picture pop up

Loren: Hey you

Eddie: Hey there how was the show?

Loren: Amazing. I wish you were here though

Eddie: So do I. More than you know. So what did you ladies talk about?

Loren: Just about the album and stuff

Eddie: Stuff as in me?

-Loren begins to blush

Loren: Maybe

-They both laugh

Eddie: So I'm calling because I wanted to hear your beautiful voice but to also let you know I convince Jake to let me fly home for a couple of times a month to see you while I'm on tour!

-Loren screeched causing Eddie to jump and remove the phone from his ear

Loren: I'm sorry babe but I'm so excited!

Eddie: Me...

-Suddenly Loren's phone beeps and she sees its Mel

Loren: Oh hey Eddie I have to go Mel is calling so it's probably important

Eddie: Ok yeah talk later

-Loren nods then switches the call

Loren: Mel I just finished the interview what wrong?

-Mel responses in a chocked up voice

Mel: Hey, I'm at your mom's place, I really need you right now

Loren: Stay right there I am on my way

-Loren runs out of the dressing room and runs into Ellen

Ellen: Oh hey there I was just about to stop by and say amazing job

Loren: Thank you, that really means the world to me but I am so sorry I can't talk my best friend needs me

Ellen: Of course, go ahead. Great job again

Loren: Thank you, bye!

-And just like that she was out of the studio and in the car on her way to Melissa

About 20 minutes later Loren quickly pulls up into Nora and Max's driveway, turns off the car and runs inside

-Door opens

Loren: Mel? Mel are you here? Is everything okay?

-Suddenly Mel appears from around the corner

Mel: No I'm not

Loren: Well come here, what happened?

-Loren walks her over to the couch and they sit

Mel: So you know how Adam and I broke up?

Loren: Yeah?

Mel: Well I never told you this but I kind of hooked up with someone when Adam was visiting the NYU campus

Loren: Wait what! Who?

Mel: ...

-Now to Eddie with Max and Jake

Jake: So, did she freak out over the big news

Eddie: Let's put it this way, I think I am partially deaf in my right ear now

-They all laugh

Max: Nora's mentioned how much Loren misses you

Eddie: I miss her too pops. How do people do this whole long distance thing?
