📌 I've changed the full name of my half-Japanese character. And if you've been reading my work since 2020, this change might come as a surprise. I know you've grown used to his old name, and I'm truly sorry you have to adjust. Even we, the authors, are still getting used to it. In fact, Blacknostxlgia didn't even agree to the change---I only made the decision on my own because I'm a boner, I mean, hard-headed. Akala mo nakikipagbiruan eh.

So, why did I choose to do this?

Simply put, the name he used to have is already used in another story. Ang babaw na dahilan lang, 'di ba? Baka malunod ka pa niyan. Kung tutuusin, marami namang gumagamit ng nagkataong parehong pangalan sa bawat kuwento nila. So what's my deal? Wala, pabida lang boss. Kulang kasi sa lambing.

Kidding aside, the thing is-even though this was published way ahead of the other author's release date-their story has already touched the hearts of many readers, unlike this one, which is still in the process of being rewritten for the fifth times.

We can't control how readers think, especially minors. Comparisons are often unavoidable. And one thing I deeply hope to avoid is unnecessary fanwars between readers. I don't want to see characters from different stories and authors being compared with one another. Kasi wala akong readers dito sa wp, it's only going to be their readers vs me-if ever. Kawawa naman sila, lahat mababara. Charot. Kawawa ako, siyempre. Mangangalay ako magtype ng reply.

Through this change, I hope it becomes easier for readers to instantly recognize which book a character belongs to. More than that, I hope this helps give my character his own identity-without being unintentionally linked to another author's work.

I respect every author and the world they've built-just as I hope mine can be respected, too. Bigyan ko kayo gcash, 1pesos=respect. Jk. Alam kong mataas value ng respeto niyo. Wag na nga, kupalin niyo nalang pala ako. Batak naman akong mangupal.
