Sans was just doing his job, like he always was doing. There were few souls that have passed away today, and there wasn't much anything for Sans to do other than sleep like the dead. Heh, it would be funny if he could sleep for the entire day and pretend that he was truly dead.

He was a skeleton monster, so posing as a dead person who left nothing but their corpse was an easy task. Heck, he even bet that he could go out on Halloween without any costume either.

It would be even funnier since it'll get a reaction out of his brother...

This was definitely a normal day, and Sans was almost down to two lost souls that already met the end of the road. And then he can go back to doing his own nature-

Which was sleeping till all day long, of course.

Sans almost laughed at the joke he had made, as he made his way towards the destination where the lost soul he was going to reap was staying at. It was a monster that had met its demise in a very sad way. Their hope was already at the end of its thread, but Sans doesn't have a say on who gets to stay and leave. Everyone was bound to meet the end of their thread, the end of their road.

That was just how life was, and Sans was just some instrument who played the role to guide everyone to the afterlife.

He found it more ironic that the one who would send someone to the afterlife is a literal skeleton himself. Isn't that a bit morbid?

"I-!nK! G3-geT tH3 FuCk BaCk HeR3, Y0u StU-stup!D Cow@Rd!"

Sans' journey came to abrupt when someone shouted from a far, that he could almost see two faint figures stepping out of a portal. With two skeletons running around the place like headless chickens.

Sans squinted his eyes, trying to get a better look at the skeleton. Which was quite odd to say the least, since Gaster, Papyrus, and himself were the only skeleton monster. Other than that? There was no one else, not like Life would make another skeleton monster like him. And come to think of it?

He still wasn't on good terms with Life, with her not liking death? It was inevitable, afterall oil doesn't mix well with water.

"Come, and get me then glitchy!" The smaller skeleton laughed, enjoying the game of cat and mouse with the other skeleton as it seemed.

The two skeletons definitely weren't on friendly terms with one another, that even a child would be able to see the tension around the two skeletons. Albeit, it was just the glitchy skeleton that was wreaking havoc among the area. As they lashed out on the smaller skeleton, who was having fun teasing the glitchy skeleton.

It was evident that the smaller skeleton had done something to make the other one that mad.

Normally, Sans wouldn't mind that at all. Death was normal, and he was made for this reason. He and Papyrus were meant to take out any living, between the mortal or immortal realm. No matter what they are, human or monsters. Peace was supposed to be restored with Sans and Papyrus killing people that's meant to die either way.

But something seems off with the duo that Sans cannot place. There was something at the back of his mind that this duo was something else.

"Yo-Y0u stu-stuPid SquID! Sta-staY sT!ll So I CaN HiT YOuR StUp!D TInY A$$!" Blasters and bones were summoned from left to right, but the smaller skeleton was too fast enough that nose of those hit the smaller ones.

It was almost like watching Tom and Jerry in live action, only that instead of a cat? It was two skeletons chasing each other for whatever reason that was. But it was clear enough that the smaller skeleton had fulfilled the role of Jerry too well, that the glitched skeleton was mad at the smaller one. And if Sans remembered it correctly? The smaller skeleton's name was Ink?
