The king of rock was in the middle of show in San Francisco, performing a gospel song which was one thing that made him stand out from any other performer. "Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down. Like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down." He closed his eyes while singing into the microphone, his red pinwheel jumpsuit beginning to stick to his body from how much he was sweating
Out of the corner of his eye, Elvis could see someone coming out onto the stage or rather someone toddling, James taking his slow first steps towards his father while his mother had been distracted. But Elvis didn't stop, smiling as he continued with the song and watched his little boy. He knelt down when the one year old had made it halfway across the stage and picked up the toddler with one arm
James squealed in delight at the man kissing him on the cheek, the crowd awing at the cute moment
"This is my son, James. As you can see, he's learning how to walk and doing a great job." He said to the sea of people, flashbulbs going off left and right
Elvis disappeared backstage for a second to give James back to his wife who was relieved to know her child was ok
"I'm sorry, Elvis. I didn't expect him to do that." She shifted the mischievous child in her arms
"It's alright, he wasn't hurting anything." He was rather amused by the whole thing
During the short intermission, Elvis went back to his dressing room to grab some more scarves to give out to his fans. As he turned to leave his dressing room, an all too familiar brunette came inside
"Hi Elvis, sorry if I'm interrupting you." She smiled
"Oh it's alright, Cilla. I was actually on my way out." He smiles back, a bit nervous
"I saw these in the hallway and wanted to give them back to you. I know you keep pictures of Liv in your wallet." She handed over two pictures of Elvis with Olivia, one from three years ago and the other was just recent
