Chapter 12: Date, gifts, what else?

Time passed by easily, we has fun talking and telling jokes to each other

"Ah! We should go on a date today! I told you we should go someday, right?"

I tried remembering what he said last time, and it clicked, "You did."

Venti's eyes shined from excitement, "Alright! Let's get ready!"

He stormed out of my bedroom and started taking a bath, talking about energy. What can I do? He's built like that.

It's our first date, after all. It's surprising and somewhat exciting, to say the least.

At least I should buy him a gift.

When Venti opened to bathroom door, I knew that he was finished already, "Venti, I'll go out for a while, I'll find us some restaurant to dine in, if that's alright with you."

Venti looked my way and started smiling wider, "Oh, alright! Be back when I call you!"

I nodded and left, I started searching online to see if there was a restaurant nearby, scrolling through the recommended restaurants.

The popular restaurant nearby was "Good Hunter Diner" it's description rather has a persuasive way to make it look good.

"Freshly cooked" kind of deceiving... I booked one and thought of something for Venti. He wouldn't mind if I bought him flowers or chocolates, but that is for Valentines, I should think more...

He does love Cecilias, but I gave him around 20 times for 2 months, and I think I that should be enough.

As I was overthinking about gifts for Venti, a small tap on my shoulder made me look at... this person...

Albedo was his name, "Xiao? What are you doing out here? It's hot outside."

Now that I think about it, I didn't mind the hot weather, or anything, I got used to it for a long time.

"Sorry, was focusing." Was my reply, Albedo seemed to curious and tilted his head, "Is it about Venti?"

How did he even know what I was thinking? "How?"

"From the look on your face, you seem to be in a trance. Is there something bothering you? Gifts for him or what?"

Albedo seems to know me more than I myself do... "Yes, I'm trying to find him a good gift for him but I can't pick..."

Albedo nodded in understanding, "I see... then you should buy him a hair clip that represents a Cecilia or a bracelet, perhaps." He recommended.

"That is... a good idea, I didn't think about that before, really. Thank you, Albedo."

"Don't mention it. It's a way to say thank you for taking care of Venti. He's a handy one before you came, so don't worry about it."

I nodded again and waved goodbye to the white-blonde haired boy, he's calm when talking, unlike me.

Enough of that, I should be buying him stuff that Albedo recommended.
