Dottie’s POV:

Taylor made me soup, and as promised, I was given time to take a long nap. I got more rest than I thought I would, and when I got up I was also treated to a bubble bath; Just like he said. I was coming down the stairs in a towel, to ask Taylor where my clothes were, when he said, “Hey Dottie you almost-” and he caught sight of my legs. His eyes widened and he trailed up slowly, and swallowed and said, “Hey.” I laughed and said, “It looks like you’ve never seen a girl in your life.” He chuckled and said, “Not like you.” And smiled. “Go get your clothes on so we can get you home, alright? They’re upstairs.” he told me. As soon as he said that my stomach sank to my feet. “Home? Now? Why?” I pleaded. He sighed and said, “Babe whatever was there, is probably gone now.” I sighed too and said, “Okay, your right. I’ll be down in a few.” I went back up to get my clothes on, and came back downstairs. He was just grabbing his keys, “You ready?” he asked. I nodded, and hoped to god Sebastian was gone. We drove back to my house, and I slowly walked inside. Taylor came with me, and I closed the door behind him. No one was to be seen, so I sighed with relief, until Sebastian came out of the kitchen. “Hey Sebastian!” Taylor said with I big smile. He locked eyes with me and said, “Hey Taylor. I was just leaving.” He said as he picked up his jacket and keys. I avoided eye contact, and he tried to walk by us. Taylor stopped him by grabbing his arm and said, “Why were you even here?” I looked back at Sebastian, and shook my head no from behind Taylor, begging him not to tell. “I promised Dott I would clean up from the mess I made last night. Like I said, just leaving.” and removed Taylor’s hand from his arm. As he rushed by me and he whispered, “I’m sorry Dotteline.” No one addressed me by my full name. Those few words made me want to cry again, but I didn’t acknowledge him so Taylor wouldn’t know he said anything.

            Sebastian’s POV:

I tried my best not to run back in a beg she forgive me for what I did, but Taylor would tell for sure. He was my best friend, besides Dottie, but I couldn’t tell him. I could tell by the look in her eyes she was scared out of her mind; thinking I would spill. I knew better than to ruin everything. I just walked to my motorcycle, and as I was about to start it, “Sebastian,” I heard Taylor’s voice, “Wana put your bike in the back and ride back with me?” he asked as he pointed to his truck. I nodded, and got off my bike. I walked it over top his truck, and picked it up with one hand and putting it the back with ease. “Damn.” Taylor said, surprised. “Hey, you’ve seen me bench press.” I smile at him. He chuckles and said, “Get in the car… fucking stud…” I laughed and went around, hopping into shot gun. He turned the car on and we started to drive to his place. “…Sebastian… I…” Taylor began. “Yes?” I felt my chest burn up, scared she told him everything. “Something has been bugging me for months… I wanted you to come back to get my mind off it. You know, some bro bonding time?” he said in a low, serious tone. “What is it Taylor?” I was beginning to get scared. “I… I’m in love with Dottie.” As soon as those words left my best friends mouth, I felt a pit of guilt form in my stomach. I swallowed, and said, “How long?” closing my eyes. “For as long as I’ve known her.” His voice cracking when he spoke. I tightened my eyes, knowing he couldn’t see me because his eyes were on the road. I kissed her, Jeremy is dating her, and Taylor loves her. What the fuck happened this weekend? “I’m sorry lad, that’s got to be tough.” I replied putting a hand on his shoulder. “Yeah…” he groaned. I sighed and said, “What do you want to do about it? Tell her?” I asked, hoping he did NOT want to tell her. “No…” he sighed. I let out a deep breath and said, “That’s probably for the best…” I looked at him with sympathy as we came to a red light. When he stopped, he sighed and looked at me. “I just needed to say it out loud... Thanks.” I smiled a bit and nodded once. “No more talk about it? Just bro time?” he asked looking back at the road. I nodded again, and he sighed, putting on a fake smile I could see right through. “Good.” He began to drive again. I pushed my feelings aside and said, “Listen, you should do whatever you feel is right to do. Risk making things awkward, or accept her as a very close friend, and tell yourself it’s enough. I know how you feel about this… trust me, just,” I paused to find the right words, “Just be careful okay?” he nodded and said, “Thanks Sebastian.” He smiled over at me when he reached a stop sign, and I smiled back.

Dottie’s POV:

I was cleaning up a bit, actually, no I wasn’t. I was looking for little things to pick up and move because I was stressed out of my mind. Sebastian had already cleaned the whole house; he does the same thing when he starts to freak out. I heard my phone ringing and picked up without looking; I took a deep breath, and prepared my fake chill voice. “Hello?” I said like a completely relaxed teen. “Dottie. I’m so glad you answered…” I knew that voice. “Jeremy…” said softly. GOD that was the last thing I wanted to worry about. “If you aren’t still mad-” I cut him off and said, “I’m not. Just needed to cool off.” I heard a deep sigh and, “What a relief… then you’ll be glad to know I talked my boss into letting me take the early flight back. I’ll be back tomorrow night right after the meeting.” I was happy for a moment till I realized that meant I had to listen to him apologize while I sat back and lied to him about kissing Sebastian. “That’s…” I started to freak, then swallowed it. Yes, I know. That’s what she said. “Wonderful.” I said in the sweetest voice I could. I heard a giggle, and then, “See you then. Bye love.” I started to tear and said, “Bye Jerr.” And hung up. I threw my phone into the chair and plopped down on the sofa. I put my head in between my knees and took five deep breaths. I didn’t want to cry, so I calmed myself down. I got a text and looked up from the floor, I reached over the coffee table to get it and saw it was a text from Taylor.

From: Taylor                                                 9:00PM

Sebastian and I are having a bro’s night. Wont have our phones, so we’ll talk tomorrow. Feel better love.

Sent at: 9:00 PM

I just acknowledged it and left it alone. I needed a break. I went upstairs and got undressed before I got in bed and went to sleep. When I woke up the whole next day I just sat around the house, till it was 7:00 PM and the door rang. I went to get it, and it was the Zach, Taylor, and Michael. Michael smiled when he saw me and said, “Thought you could use some company.” I smiled big and hugged him. I know I say it too much, but I love these boys. They all came in and we sat down on the couch; Michael and Zach on either side of me, and Taylor on the floor in front of me with my feet on his shoulders. We were watching TV till we heard the door bell ring again. I got up slowly knowing who it was. I walked over and took a deep breath before opening the door. I was greeted by a bright smile and big eyes. “Hey babe.” He smiled as he set down his bags, and took a step forward to hug me. “Hey Jeremy…” I sighed into his neck, inhaling deeply. He kissed my cheek, pulled out, and shot me another smile before turning around and picking his bags back up to come inside. He put his bags on the stairs, and walked over to chat with the boys. They were laughing and hugging while I just tried to calm down again. “Breathe in. Breathe out. Just get through today. Then take on tomorrow.” I repeated that in my head until I locked eyes with Jerr who was hugging Zach. He smiled and tipped his head back a bit motioning me to come over there. I walked over slowly, not saying a word. He hugged me and said, “What’s wrong Hun?” he asked as the other boys sat back down. I sighed and said, “Nothing babe, I’m just tired.” He looked at me unsure, so I kissed him lightly, “I’m only tired. Let’s sit down.” He nodded and sat down in my spot, spreading his legs. “Come here’ babe.” He smiled as he patted the couch between his legs. I smiled a bit and sat there, still putting my feet on Taylor.

            Sebastian’s POV:

I took a deep sigh as I knocked on her door. I heard footsteps, and expected my Dott; but it was Jeremy. Shit. I had forgotten about him. “Join the party lad!” he smiled as he hugged me. Not knowing I kissed his girlfriend. He pulled me inside with such force I ran into him. He laughed, and that cause them all to look over. Everyone eyes brightened but Dottie’s. she looked scared out of her mind. I was the only one that could tell of course, and I wanted nothing but to calm her and figure a way out of this. I just settled for waving silently at them, and walking over to the empty chair next to the sofa. Dottie stared at me the whole way, begging silently for an answer as to what we should do. I just looked down, and out of the corner of my eye I saw her eyes flutter shut in complete confusion. I didn’t realize till I sat down, the chair was right next to Dott. I just looked into her eyes and sighed. “I’m sorry.” I whispered so no one would hear. She nodded and grabbed my hand. I just looked at our hands as she intertwined our fingers, and I knew I was forgiven. Jeremy came over and pulled our hands apart as he cut through to sit behind Dottie as she was in between his legs. “Not tryn’a steal my girl are you?” he said as he started laughing. I just fake chuckled and said, “Wouldn’t dream of it…” looking at Dott with longing eyes as she looked at her lap.
