Chapter 6: The Dive

During the trio's quality time together, Farfan and Ester could get onto the ark by climbing the rope. Ester was having a little trouble climbing, but she managed to get on board.

ESTER: Don't worry Farfan, I can do it on my own. (Thinking) Y/N would have helped me if he was here with me right now, knowing how to treat a lady.

FARFAN: I swear I saw a lion!

ESTER: Not even that idiot Noah would put wild animals on an ark.

FARFAN: Well, we better rest a little while and then go on climbing.

Ester looked up to see that they still had a long way to go to reach the top.

ESTER: What for? It's very high and we don't even know what is up there.

FARFAN: It can't be worse than what I saw below.

Somewhere on the ark, there was a club known as "Dive" where laughter could be heard from inside while Bomay's partner, Lily, was standing outside as its club's security guard and bouncer. Inside the club, many animals, including Xiro and Bruma were laughing as Pity the Parrot was on stage, doing a comedy routine.

PITY: And so Esa, since he had faulty teeth, he couldn't have eaten anything LaFontaine said he did, that's why one must never trust any fable tellers.

Everyone (except for Dagnino's gang) was laughing and applauding at the parrot's performance.

FEMALE GIRAFFE: Tell us more about humans.

Before he could, Bombay went to the stage and wrapped his hand around the parrot's beak.

BOMBAY: The Great Pity will be back later. But now The Dive is very proud to present our superstar performer, Panty.

As soon as he said that, a curvaceous panther with a beehive hairstyle seductively walk onto the stage.

Some of the herbivores, including Alvaro, were concerned about the lyrics that were coming out of her mouth while some males were hypnotized by the way she moves, especially Xiro, which Bruma noticed, causing her to have a sour look on her face. Some animals sing along with her, causing the noise to fill the room and beyond there.

Y/N, Kairel, and Oriana were sleeping soundly, but the sound of singing causes them to slowly wake up from their slumber as they have risen from bed, groan from their resting being interrupted, and stretch their arms.

KAIREL: What's with all that noise?

ORIANA: Don't they know some of us are trying to sleep?

Y/N: We should probably find out what's going on.

Y/N pointed to a door across from them.

Y/N: Before we go, we should probably freshen ourselves up.

Kairel and Oriana agree as they make their way to the bathroom. While Y/N quickly washed his body, Kairel and Oriana groomed themselves.

Exiting the bathroom, Y/N and Oriana got themself dressed and as soon as everyone was ready, they made their way out of the room and headed to where the noise was coming from.

Meanwhile, at the upper level of the ark, Noah's three daughters-in-law looked out a window, seeing that it was still raining.

MIRIAM: Does anybody know where we're going?
