I had the time of my life at prom with you. You are why love songs exists.
I know I cried at your cousins graduation party because I'm so scared of you leaving, but I am so incredibly proud of you. You're going to have so much fun at college. Thank you for listening to me cry, and telling me that you love me and you'll always make time for me. I made you another book for your grad gift. It's dark green, and it has pictures in chronological order from when we first met. It has handwritten notes on the back of every single picture. You mentioned once you wanted a necklace so I took that into consideration and got you one. It's the infinity necklace from The Summer I Turned Pretty because we talked about it when we first got together. I love you infinitely.
We broke up later this month, it's now July as I type this. I was never going to publish this but I might as well. He was perfect to me, he is kind, funny and his soul is sweet. He deserves all the happiness this world has to offer. Thank you for thinking of me on vacation, and thank you for having tea parties with me. I will never love someone the way I loved you, and that's okay. We'll meet in another lifetime. Thank you for telling me not to watch greys anatomy and then comforting me after I do end up watching greys. You are my favorite person.
Goodbyes are hard, but that's because you're lucky to have ever had it. I am so lucky to have been able to love you in this lifetime. Thank you.
