Pokémon: The Future

Chapter 1

Ash POV:

Narrator: Our hero is on a flight to Galar to battle the champion of the Galar league, Victor, with his friend Goh.

"What's your strategy Ash?" Asks Goh.

"I don't have one." I replies.

"That's pretty much what I expect from you." Said Goh.

"How else do you think I became ranked #1 in the World Coronation Series?" I said.

"I suppose I can't argue with that." Goh says, looking down at his phone.

"We are landing in ten minutes." The pilot said from the speaker.

"Do you know what Pokémon you are going to use?" Asks Goh.

"No!" I replies.

"Then why are you so enthusiastic?"

"Just because!"

Goh sighs at this comment and looks for directions to a hotel in Wyndon. "There is one called the Rondelands." Goh says.

"Great, let's go there!" I say, very enthusiastically.

Narrator: When Goh and Ash arrive they spot Victor, training with some pokemon they have never seen before.

"Victor!" I screams getting his attention immediately.

"Oh! Ash! Hello." Victor replies, looking like he was spooked.

"What is that Pokémon?" I asks.

"It is called 'Armarouge'" Victor says. "It resides in the Paldea region. I recently just travelled there."

Goh uses his Pokédex. "Armarouge, the fire warrior Pokémon. A fire and psychic type. Armarouge's armor is said to have belonged to a distinguished warrior, and is the source of its psychic power. The armor allows Armarouge to control its inner fire energy and use attacks."

"That's so cool! I want to go to the Paldea region." Goh says.

"One of the champions there actually challenged me to a Pokémon battle, so I'm going to Paldea the day after our battle. I can book some more tickets if you want to come." Victor offers.

"Really!? Of course we'll come!" Goh and I say in unison.

"OK! I'll head to my hotel room, you two go explore Wyndon." 

"That Pokémon looks super strong! I say. " Paldea must be an awesome place!"

"Yeah it must be!" Goh looks at his phone for sights in Wyndon.  "There's a place called the Battle Café."

"Awesome! Two of my favourite things! Food and battling!" I say enthusiastically.

We eat, then I battle the café owner.

"Alcremie! Use dazzling gleam!" The owner orders his Pokémon.

"Pikachu! Use thunderbolt!" I says.

"Pi-kaaa---chuuuuu!!!"

Me and pikachu won the battle.

"All right!" I yell.

"Pika-pika!" Pikachu says.

The café owner gives Ash something. "Here, take this on behalf of your win." The owner hands Ash a love sweet.

"What's it for?" I ask.

"It's for evolving a Pokémon called Milcery." The owner replies.

"I see."

When they leave, they spend the rest of the day exploring Wyndon.

Serena POV: (A few days before Ash arrived in Galar)

Serena is in Kalos, having a conversation with Aria.

"I can't wait to defeat you!" I say.

"Are you sure that is what you want to do with your life?" Aria asks.

"Of course!" I reply.

"Is there anyone who you like in this world?"

"Um... maybe..." I say while blushing.

"I'm not trying to exploit you into not competing against me, but if you become Kalos Queen, You will be very busy. I'm lucky to even get this one week break, so you might not be able to spend time with them."

Serena then looks down into her coffee, contemplating what she should do, but then sees the blue ribbon.

"I'm not sure what I should do now." Serena says weakly.

"I'm sorry, but may I ask, who is that person?" Aria asks.

"Ash Ketchum..." I say with my face in my arms crossed.

"The world champion? You know him?" Aria says, confused.

"Yeah, I travelled with him through Kalos with some other friends, but at the end of our journey, before I went down the escalator to get to my flight to Hoenn, I kissed him." I say, with my face as red as a tomato.

"Well then, follow your heart."

"But I've come so far!"

"But didn't he help you get this far?" 

"Yes..." I say, almost tearing up.

"Would you like to spend more time with him because of that?"

"Yes actually..."

"So do it! In fact, he has a match in Galar in a few days! We should go watch it!"

"OK!"
