"I mean, do you really think Mom would hurt Dad?" Vanya asked as they watched the surveillance tape again.
"You haven't been home in a long time Vanya. Maybe you don't know Grace anymore." Luther said, making Lilith roll her eyes.
"You haven't been home either, space boy." Lilith replied.
"If he was poisoned, it would have shown in the coroner's report." Diego pointed out.
"Well, I don't need a report to tell me what I can see with my own eyes."
"Right, so now the coroner's are wrong at their own job?" Lilith asked sarcastically as she went next to Landon.
"Maybe all that low gravity in space messed with your vision. Look closer. Dad has his monocle. Mom stands up. Monocle's gone." Diego said, rewinding the tape.
"Oh yeah," Klaus responded laughing.
"She wasn't poisoning him. She was taking it, to clean it." Diego explained.
"Then we're is it?" Luther asked. Klaus tapped Lilith's arm as she turned to him as he offered her chips, she took two. One for her and the other she fed to Ginger.
"That's because I took it from her. After the funeral." Diego admitted.
"You had the monocle this whole time? What the hell, Diego?"
"Give it to me." Luther demanded.
"Ooo, he's gonna say something to make them even more mad." Klaus whispered to Lilith and Landon.
"I threw it away."
"You what?" Luther said, getting angry as Allison scoffed. Klaus and the twins looked at each other and chuckled as they turned back to watch.
"He's gonna give a reasoning, of course." Landon whispered.
"Look, I knew if you found it on mom, you'd lose your shit." Diego said, pointing his knife at Diego. "Just like you're doing right now."
Landon gave them a look as Lilith nodded, impressed.
"Luther's gonna call him a name now." Lilith whispered.
"Diego, you son of a bitch."
Lilith held her hand out as Landon gave her a high five, Klaus following right after. "Hey. No. Calm down. Look, I know dad wasn't exactly an open book, but I do remember one thing he said. Mom was, well, designed to be a caretaker, but also a protector." Vanya calmly said.
"What does that mean?" Allison asked.
"She was programmed to intervene if someone's life was in jeopardy." Vanya explained.
"Well if her hardware is degrading, then...we need to turn her off."
"And this is when Lily gets mad." Klaus whispered to Landon.
