we used to cry if we weren't sleeping together
now I have no energy to force myself under the blankets
to feel the heat of you against my body
and realize how you make me feel
I don't have the energy to face reality tonight
so I'll sneak out when you fall asleep
and spend the night regretting whatever it is
that got us where we are
and made me feel how I do
