The New Ninja

... and Lloyd and Master Wu entered. Lloyd must have finished his mentor talk. As soon as they entered, they notice me. "Who are you?" Lloyd asked.

"Lloyd, this is Melody," Nya introduced me. "She's that new kid in our school, remember?" "Oh yeah," Lloyd replied. "What are you doing here, Melody?" "She followed us," Jay replied for me. "She wanted to know why everyone hates you when you are not the Green Ninja, and why Garmadon attacks the city every day. We explained everything." "Well, it's nice to meet you, Melody," Master Wu said. Then he paused for a moment. "What's wrong, Master Wu?" Lloyd asked.

"There's something I need to tell you," He said, then walked towards me. Then he continued, "There is another elemental power called Strength. And Melody has that element," I was shocked. "You mean..." I started, but I was cut off.

"Yes," Master Wu interrupted me. "You can harness the elemental power of Strength. That means you will be joining the Secret Ninja Force and becoming one of my students" "But I don't have the power of strength," I said.

"Yes, you do," Master Wu said. "Just tell us, please," I sighed. So I began

"I don't know how I got this elemental power of Strength. But I think I know where I got it from. When I was in year 7, I loved exploration and you ninja were my heroes. But one day, while I was exploring a garden near my neighbourhood, I heard a voice. It was calling me. I thought it wanted me to do something, so I followed it. Behind some bushes, I found what looked like a ghost-like spirit. It was the one who called me. So I asked why it had called me. The spirit did not say anything, but it flew into a direction. So I followed it. Soon, the spirit disappeared, and I called it out loud, but no reply. Then I saw something. It was a flower. It was glowing and was making those humming sounds. It must be special, so I touched it. as soon as I did, i felt this strong wave of power pass through me. It was something that I've never felt before. When It faded, I thought it was weird, so I walked back to my house, trying to forget what happened."

"So," Kai said when I was finished telling my story. "You basically touched a flower that was acting weirdly, and when you did, you felt this power you never felt before?" I nodded. "That must be the elemental power of Strength," Master Wu said. "You have the power to be really strong,"

"But I actually never used it before," I said. "I never knew that I have something like this until now. I don't know how to use it," "Neither do we," Jay said. "Maybe with training, yes. But if you are going to be in the Secret Ninja Force, then I suggest you use a mech to fight Garmadon with us."

"Because you don't have a mech yet, you can ride on my mech," Lloyd said. "You need experience so that you know what you are facing in person. Oh, and also keep your identity a secret. Don't tell anyone," I smiled. "Thanks, guys," I said. "I sure will, and I appreciate it." "Now, it's getting late, students," Master Wu said. "Go home and get some rest,"

We nodded. We left the garage and I head over to my house. Luckily, it was not far, so as soon as I got home, I hugged my mum, and did not tell her about what happened. I told her about school being weird, but she said that I will get used to it. Then I took a shower, ate roast chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner, then went to sleep.
