Chapter 58: Storm The Castle!

The scene opens with Tabitha, Phoebe, Cosmo and Avada sprinting up quartz like stairs. Cosmo was very nimble on his feet even in human form so he stormed ahead with no issues, but as he reached the top. His ginger tail stood on end and his fur was raised..there was an enemy. As the three caught up, they also got into battle positions.

???: "Oh my..I'm surprised you noticed me, I must work on concealing my presence."

Tabitha: "Who's there?!"

As Tabitha called that out, a man appeared in front of the group. The man had a very looming and gloomy presence, his jet black hair was slicked down..he wore dark robes with sleeves that hung. His face was pale and he had quite the petrifying creepy smile, his mouth was just a straight slit as he smiled. He tilted his head, he outstretched his arms before saying.

Martin: "I am Martin, the floor guardian of the garden floor of this castle. Unfortunately I cannot let any of you go..kekekeke."

Phoebe: "You guys go, let me take care of him."

Avada: "Phoebe dear, are you sure?"

Tabitha: "We know nothing about him or his powers, he could kill you."

Phoebe: "I know that! But focus on saving Zelly's friend! I'll be fine, plus I'm a better match when it comes to being surrounded by nature."

The three looked at Phoebe with blank expression.

Phoebe: "What?! Why are you all staring at me like that?"

Tabitha: "Nothing..that was just pretty surprising coming from you."

Cosmo: "Yeah!"

Phoebe pouted before saying.

Phoebe: "I maybe an airhead but I know about nature, just go and hurry!"

The three nodded before sprinting toward the staircase. Martin looked over before raising his hand to use a spell to block them off, but Phoebe pointed her finger toward the group before saying.

Phoebe: "Curse of botany: Spring Mushroom!"

As she called out her spell, a green mushroom sprouted from the ground and pushed Avada, Tabitha and Cosmo through the doorway. She then used her vine spell to block off the exit. Phoebe cut her gold hues at him before saying.

Phoebe: "Keep your eyes on me!"

Martin: "Kekekeke..I'll just have to put you to rest before I make my way up there...but I don't believe it matters..they won't reach the boss."

The scene changed and the group were sprinting up the stairs with haste, they had to get to Jack and save him. As the group reached the top of the stairs, they noticed a room..it was blue with white clouds going along it. Tabitha slid to a stop before holding up her arms to stop the two.

Tabitha: "The shadows..it's troubled."

Cosmo: "Huh?..."

Avada: "Ah, Cosmo dear whenever Tabitha says that. It means someone is currently disturbing her spirit due to being undetectable in her radius."

Cosmo: "Undegsarfv?"

Avada giggled before petting Cosmo's head gently.

Ada: "Don't worry dear, it's okay just know we're in safe hands."

Suddenly from the distance a white cloud was seen slowly floating toward them. Cosmo's ears spiked up before saying.

Cosmo: "Watch out!"

Ada quickly jumped back but Tabitha was slow, the cloud covered her and then a massive explosion happened.

Cosmo: "Tabi!"
