I woke up ver excited for the day ahead of me. It was our last day in the studio, and tomorrow we started tech week in the theatre! We have gotten fitted for our costumes and got our costumes! They were gorgeous, and has built in mic holders, which was amazing. Our shoes were so cute. So cute.

I got out of bed and got ready for the day. I changed into a black tee and some biker shorts. I left my hair down and pulled on my tennis shoes. I left the bathroom and saw that Mike was still asleep. I kissed him lightly on the cheek and wrote a note for him.

mike,
I left for rehearsal and you were still asleep. Have a wonderful day! Text me when you wake up? I love you! Bye!

I set it on the nightstand next to him and left the room quietly. I grabbed my bag and keys and practically ran out of the apartment. I caught a cab to the studio and rushed inside. I saw Abby and Dia in the elevator.

"Hey Lynn!" Dia greeted

"Hey guys. Last day in the studio!" I said happily as the doors shut

"I know, I can't wait to see the theatre!" Abby exclaimed

"Same,"

"Me too!"

Then, the doors opened and we walked into the studio. We walked over to the other girls, and set out stuff down. I stretched for a few moments until my phone dinged. I picked it up and saw Mike had texted me.

mikey💗

Hey, honey! I just woke up, thanks for the note. Hope you have fun today 💕
Thank you, you too💗

I smiled down at my phone before putting it back in my bag and walking over to Lucy with the girls. She talked to us for a little bit before going back over to her laptop and typing some more. We pulled our skirts, for those who had them, and shoes on before starting our rehearsal.

We started off with scene work, them moved to vocals, and finally choreography. After that, which took about 3 hours, we took our forty-five minute lunch break. I grabbed my lunch box and followed Andrew down to the break room. A few other productions that I didn't recognize. We all sat down at a table together and talked whole eating our lunches.

"So, Lynny, you never showed us your dress!" Andrea said to me and all the other girls perked up

"You haven't! Show now please!" Brittany asked

I pulled out my phone and searched for the pictures I took of my dresses. I showed them the flower reception dress first.

"This is my reception dress." They passed my phone amongst themselves

I got it handed back to me so I switched it to my actual dress. I passed to to Dia and she gasped before passing it around. All the girls had the same reaction. Almost awestruck.

"Jocelyn. That is gorgeous! You hit the jackpot!" Dia turned to me

"It's beautiful, you're going to look so good!"

That reminded me. I had to give them something once our lunch break ended, which would be in about 5 minutes. Finaly, we went back up to the studio and got back to work. Before, however, I called the queens and waiting in ladies band over. I reached into my bag and pulled out nine envelopes. I handed one to each of them and watched them open it. Inside, were the wedding invitations. Today, we started mailing and handing them out.

Everyone looked up at me once reading the card with a big smile. They all accepted and I put them on the rsvp list. Lucy called us all over and said we were just going to be doing full run-throughs of the show. In reality, we would only get through the first three songs because we had to stop and clean mistakes. We were given one last break and I ran over to our vocal coach, Jessica.

"Jocelyn!"

"I have an idea for All You Wanna Do."

"Let's hear it."

"I was thinking at the end, I could add runs and stuff? I have a few things in mind, if you want me to show you or something."

"Alright, let's hear it." She called over Lucy

We ran through the song with my added extras. After I finished I looked hopefully to the two women. Lucy whispered with Jessica before turning back to me.

"It's wonderful. Let's do it." I thanked them and skipped back over to the girls

I entered the apartment to find Mike wasn't there yet. I set my stuff down and hopped into the shower. I took a short shower before changing into some sweats and a tee. A turned on a movie and waited until Mike came home.

The clock struck 10 pm and he still wasn't here. I had even made a nice dinner. I made us pasta and set the table with candles and his favorite wine. By now, the food was cold and more than half of the wine was gone. My hair was laid down on the table out of exhaustion when I finally heard the door open. I didn't have enough energy nor did I want to greet Mike.

I lifted my head as Mike walked into the room and his face turned into a sorry expression. I stood up and brought my empty plate and glass to the sink.

"Where were you?" I asked as I washed my dishes

"Joss, I am so sorry! I got caught up at rehearsals!"

"For five hours?" My voice cracked involuntary

"Joss, you gotta believe me." I turned around

"You could've shot me a text. Or called me. Or done anything to let me know you were late! Jeez Mike! We are getting married!"

"I know. I know. I'm sorry, doll."

I left the room without another word and entered our bedroom. I pulled the covers up once I slipped in. I attempted to fall asleep but then Mike came in. He laid down next to me.

"Joss, I'm sorry—"

"Mike, please, go to sleep."

A few moments later sleep overtook me. But, a few moments before I felt Mike set his head onto my chest. His left hand gripped onto my right tightly. I moved my hand to his head and lightly played with his hair before the weight of my eyelids grew heavier.

"I love you," Mike whispered as I slipped into a peaceful sleep
