Melody POV
Lloyd used a flag to parachute us down. When we reach the floor, Lloyd drops the flag and starts to run. "Where are you going?" I call out, sprinting after him.
I followed Lloyd, but he was quick. Then I realised that he was heading towards the dock, near the ocean where his mech had landed when Garmadon took us out.
Finally, he stopped. He looked around, only to find that the boat that Master Wu was fighting the generals on was destroyed. "Lloyd, are you okay?" I ask. "What's wrong?" "Oh, no. No, no, please, please, no" Lloyd said, ignoring me. I could see that he was looking at a hat that belonged to Master Wu floating in the water. "Uncle Wu...," He said. I held his shoulder, trying to cheer him up, but it didn't do anything. What now?
We suddenly heard a rumble. We turn around to see Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Nya climbing over the rumble that was behind us. They were alive! And they look a bit angry.
"Oh my gosh!" Lloyd said with relief. "You guys are okay!"
"Barely!" Nya said.
"You used the Ultimate Weapon," Cole said. "Not cool!" "Dude, our mechs are totalled!" Kai said.
"Now that cat's destroying Ninjago," Nya said. Lloyd looks like he has let everyone down as she said that.
We were the only people that didn't hate you," Jay said. "And now we hate you," "Deleting all data related to treating Lloyd as a friend." Zane said, looking said. "Guys, I'm sorry," Lloyd said. "I let Ninjago down, and now... Master Wu is dead," "Don't be so hard on him, guys," I said. "He used the Ultimate Weapon because he thought that it was the only way to destroy Garmadon since all his weapons didn't do any damage to his mech. What's so bad about it anyway?"
"The Ultimate Weapon was a giant laser pointer that summons and controls that giant cat, " Nya explained. "Master Wu said that in the wrong hands, it could spell doomed for Ninjago. Because the Ultimate Weapon was destroyed, there was now way we could control the cat now," "Oh," I said, frowning.
Suddenly, Master Wu bursts out of the rumble. "Hello, students," He greeted us.
"Master Wu!" We all cried.
"You're alive!" Lloyd cried.
"Duh! I am a ninja master," Master Wu replied. "If I were to die, it would be to teach you a lesson. Lloyd, you have awakened Meowthra," "Meowthra?" We all ask.
"Yes, Meowthra," Master Wu replied. "The six-toed fluffy demon with her sandpaper tongue. Her reign of terror will stretch on and on until all of Ninjago is her own personal litter box. There's only one hope, one thing that can drive Meowthra away." "What?" We all ask.
"What is it?" Lloyd asked.
"The Ultimate, Ultimate Weapon," Master Wu replied.
"Why is it called that?" I ask. "And where is it?" "On the other side of the island." Master Wu replied. Hidden where only a true ninja master can find it. You must follow the right path. Otherwise you will end up trapped in the deadly Jungle of Lost Souls, unable to cross the Bridge of Fallen Mentors , and mired in the Canyon of General Unhappiness. And if you're still alive, you'll be crushed by the Temple of Fragile Foundations . It's a journey many have tried. And none have returned." "That....does sound difficult," Lloyd commented.
"And terrifying!" Jay added.
"But you know what?" Lloyd asked. "We're ready!"
"No, you're not." Master Wu replied. "It would take great patience, courage and hard work, all the skills of a true ninja master. So... I will make this journey on my own. Bye!" He leaves for the journey. But we start to follow him, trying to persuade him to let us come with him. "Wait, wait, wait-" Kai said
" Master Wu, wait- wai, wait- hold- hold on a second- please-" Lloyd said
"Come on-" Jay said.
"No-" Zane said.
" Master Wu, I know I let Ninjago down." Lloyd said
" It's true. Lloyd let Ninjago down." Jay agreed he then whispers to Lloyd. "Sorry, dude." Then he said to Master Wu, "We want to fix his terrible mistake." "Train us to be true ninjas," Kai said
"We have the potential!" Nya said.
"Come on." Cole said. "Wait! We'll do anything!"
"Please, Master Wu." Lloyd begged. "You can't do this alone. I know we're not ninja masters yet, but you said it yourself. It's important to look at things differently. Is there anything I can do to change your point of view?"
"Hmm," Master Wu thought. "Students, are you willing to give Lloyd a second chance?" Lloyd looks hopefully at us. I would say maybe. I mean, he used the Ultimate Weapon, but for a good reason when they were forbidden to use it. But the others, I don't think they will agree.
"Uh..." Cole said
"Well..." Jay said
"Too soon." Nya said
"Nope!" Kai said
"Pass." Cole said
"Still processing, so..." Jay said. Lloyd sighs.
"Lloyd. You have a long way to go to regain your friends' trust." Master Wu said. "Luckily, there's a long journey ahead of us."
"Thank you, Master Wu." Lloyd thanked him happily. "Thank you."
"The fate of Ninjago is in your hands." Master Wu said. "Are you ready?"
"Yes, I am on it!" Lloyd replied
"Oh yeah!" Nya replied.
"Yep!" Kai replied
"Affirmative." Zane replied
"Of course!" I replied
"Maybe!" Jay replied.
"Let's go!" Master Wu said. So we all headed out of Ninjago city towards The Jungle of Lost Souls.
