Today we moved into the theatre! Very, very exciting stuff. I stood with everyone in front of 42nd waiting for our bus. Finally, the bus arrived. We helped them move costumes into the back before settling in the front. I sat with Andrea, Dia was with Anna, and Abby with Brittany. The short drive was filled with talking and excited chatter throughout the bus.

Once we arrived at the theatre, we took some pics in front of the marquee. I sent some to Mike and some to Ella, Portia, and Dani. We entered the lobby and the energy skyrocketed. We walked into the theatre itself and my jaw dropped. The set was beautiful! It had three steps that led to where the band would stand. It looked regal and elegant yet modern.

"Oh my god." Britt voiced what we were all thinking

The band was already there tuning and practicing some songs. We all ran up to the stage and hopped up onto it. I looked out into the house and imagined what our show would look like in 8 days. Lucy came out into the house and stood in the middle of a few rows back.

"How do you like it?" She clasped her hands together

"It's amazing!" I squealed

They all agreed and Lucy told us to head to our dressing rooms. We wandered around backstage before finally finding them. I was with Andrea, Dia was with Britt, and Abby was with Anna. Luckily, Andrea and I got along very well. I set my stuff down as a costumer, Wendy, wheeled our costume in. We thanked her and began setting up our makeup. A few moments later, somebody knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Andrea spoke loudly

Lucy came in and informed us we were going to be doing a full run-through. Costumes, music, lighting, all that jazz! She left and I excitedly turned to Andrea! I pulled my hair into a high ponytail even tight we didn't have to do our show hair. We locked the door to our room and began changing into our costumes. Once we were finished, we grabbed our mics and stuck them into the built-in holders, which I love.

We headed out to the stage and waited for Dia and Abby. Once they came out we took the show form the top. And we kept doing that all day. We stopped after the run-through for notes and then we would apply those the next time. Tech week is a living hell, but it's fun!

When I finally crashed into the apartment I was worn out. I ate dinner with Andrea after rehearsal and all I wanted to do was take a hot shower and go to bed. Maybe cuddle with my kitty and maybe with Mikey. Who knows. As soon as I set my bag down on the floor Mike was rushing around the corner. He pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. I wrapped my legs around his waist as he walked us to the couch.

"Hey honey." He whispered as we sat down

I was straddling his lap with my head laying on his shoulder. His hands were clasped behind my back and mine behind his neck.

"Hi." I yawned

"How was rehearsal."

"Tiring."

"You want to go to bed?"

"Yes, please. But I'll take a shower first. I feel gross."

"Alright, I'll be waiting for you." He followed me into the bedroom

I took some clothes with me into the bathroom for convenience and started a shower. It was relaxing and very, very tiring. The hot water made me even more tired and relaxed my muscles to the point where I could fall asleep right then and there. After about 15 minutes I got out and changed into some sweats and a tee. I brushed my teeth and hair and headed back into the bedroom. I climbed into the bed beside Mike and laid my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head sweetly and we drifted off in a peaceful slumber.
