We ran back inside from the balcony. Everyone was running away, Natasha and Maria where shooting at an army of aliens. I knew this army.
"Ronan" I said quietly. Steve heard me.
"Who's Ronan?" He said as he took cover behind a flipped table.
"He is from Hala". I replied.

After what felt hours, we defeated them, everyone had left and there was just the avengers and a few agents here. "Everyone ok?" Pepper asked.
"What was that?" Said Maria. Guess it's time to fess up.
"That was Ronan's army, he is from Hala. A few years ago he had one of the infinity stones.... We needed the stone from him to prevent him from using it against other planets, including ours.... That's all I know I haven't actually met him", not that I would want to.
"CAPS GONE" Sam shouted from the balcony. I felt a wave of panic come over me.
"You think Ronan has him?" My brother asked. I nodded I knew for a fact he would because he would want the stone back.
"I'm going after him!" With that I left.

I climbed on to the jet to take me to where Ronan's hide out was. Even though it was my idea to come after him, Nick agreed that it was best because it was me who went last time to get to the stone.
"Ms Barton... We will be arriving shortly". The pilot said. I quickly got changed and got my parachute on.
I jumped out when the jet got close enough and quickly took cover. I used my gun and shot the two guards outside. I then walked to the door and snuck my way in. I was looking around for ages when I saw someone leave a room, i hid myself behind a door. Once the coast was clear I went to the door and went in.
The room was massive and it echoed, I saw a switch on the wall so I turned it on. That's when I saw Steve locked in side a cell. I ran over. He noticed me and stood up.
"Steve!... Thank god you are ok?" I said trying to find a way to open the gate.
"Yea I'm fine" I managed to get the door open. "Why are you here though?" I handed him a ear piece. He put it his ear. As we walked towards the door. I heard multiple foot steps coming towards the room.
"Look we don't have time for this n-" with that the door burst opened.
After 10 minutes of fighting Ronan's minions, Steve started talking to me through the ear piece as we were still fighting.
"Of all the people though April, you go for my best friend" was he seriously bringing this up.
"Look Steve, there was nothing to tell, I same was helping me out" I took another guard down. "We hugged because I was great full her him helping me..... You appeared at the wrong time, and took it the wrong".
Steve knocked the last one out, I could see him at the other side off the room.
"Is that the truth?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Yes... I wanted his help with your birthday present because you had been a little down and I wanted to get you something you would have loved!, that was it". I saw a shadow of someone come in behind him. "STEVE GET OUT THE WAY" he ran towards me.
"Well, well, well... The super solider and the girl that never dies!" The voice said walking towards us.
"Ronan.... I final get to meet you" I replied sarcastically. He chuckled in a dark tone. "You have something of mine, I want it back" he got even closer to us.
"Well I'm afraid I don't know what you m-" with that he had me by my throat. I could Steve getting angry, but without his shield he didn't stand a chance. "I'm not playing with you Agent Barton .....You get me that stone or I will make sure you don't have a world to go back to." With that he threw me to the floor and disappeared, Steve ran to my side and helped me up. "You ok?" He said full of concern.
I nodded as we made are way to the Jet.
