Wrong turns...

Chapter 1

Najiib's POV

"This party is going to be awesome!!" I yell as we go down the street to mindy's house for the Halloween party.
I was dressed as Jason from district 13. and Mattar was dressed as Frankenstein.
Maher was dressed as Dracula and Hazem was dressed as a werewolf.
"That's what you say before every party" says a very annoyed Mattar.

"Gosh..is it that time of the month!?" I say to him..
He stops in his tracks and turn around facing me.

I turn around as well...so that my back is facing him, a little smirk playing on my lips.

In that split second I knew I had to run like my life depends on it.

Just when I heard him say "aarrhh" which indicates that he is charging for me and heard footsteps.

I started running like there was no tomorrow.

I ran as fast as I possibly could across the street and onto the other side

He quickly crossed over,seeing there was no cars in the street and It was quiet and empty.
Except the fact that we are running around like a couple of five year olds,in that case the street wasn't quiet.

I reached the end of the street and to mindy's house.
I rushed in,seeing the door was open.
I shout "hi! Mindy" as I see her on a guys lap eating the crap out of his face.
She quickly looks at me and I see her cheeks on fire.
I turn around,only to become face to face with the guy I just pissed off a few moments ago.

"There you are!! I've been looking for you.!!" I say and grab some random girl and put her Infront of Mattar.
"This girl just confessed that she has a crush on you!!,you two should go on a date."
I can feel her cheeks burnin'.

Then I turn around and leave as they start to chat.

As I go out the backyard I see the people me and Mattar ditched on the way.
"So who won the brawl?"Asks Maher.

"I don't fight women....especially when they are on their period!!"i say smiling and they crack up laughing ,and people around us are looking at me like am a lunatic or something.
I smile at them and they look away.

Then I feel like my heart is on fire,when I spot her.

The girl I've liked for the past year now.
Sarah.

Looking prettier than ever.
I don't know where it came from,but I finally got the courage to go to her and talk to her.

But then she starts running towards a guy,he was good looking I guess.
And there...Infront of my eyes she jumps up on him and starts kissing him.
That's when I started walking the opposite way.
And In to the bathroom, I lock the door and feel tears in my eyes,could you blame me?
I just saw the girl I'm in love with kiss some guy Infront of me.
I wipe my tears and turn around but I regret shortly after I see the scene Infront of me.

I saw a dead girl Infront of me.

Sitting On the toilet.

With her eyes looking straight into mine.
And blood running down her entire body.

I walk closer,only to see that she had marks on her throat and her eyes were red.

Indicating that she was strangled. I feel her neck to see if it's broken.'all the bones are crushed?'I say as I feel her harshly broken bones.
I pulled out my phone dialing 911.it rang two times before my phone died.Great!

I looked outside the window to see a dark figure sitting on a tree staring right at me,then it disappeared.

I stand still not knowing what to do or what I saw.
Maybe it's just my imagination.

But it can't be my imagination,this girl was strangled and obviously that thing did it!

I ran out of the bathroom trying to find Mindy.instantly spotting her in the living room.

I ran up to her and told her what happened.
She called 911.and I run out.
Trying to find Hazem in the back yard.
I go out to the back yard looking around.not finding him.

'Where could he be?' I thought to myself .
Then i see the same thing that killed the girl again,on a different tree.

But a second later he is not there.
His picture doesn't leave my mind,and I know for a fact that it just.....

Smiled at me

I run off to find mattar because he is the only one that knows I wouldn't just say something like this out of nowhere.

Mattar's POV

"She just confessed that she has a crush on you!!,you two should go on a date."he says smiling.

He isn't getting away with this,never.
But the girl looks really attractive.
In the devil costume.
She smiles.and I smile back.

"Hi I'm Monica."she says extending her hand.
I shake it."hello! I'm mattar!"

"Interesting friend you have there" she says pointing at Najiib.
"I know the perfect match for him."my head shoots up at that,almost snapping my neck.

"You do?" I ask and she nods.

"We could hook them up"i say and her eyes light up at the idea.

He is in for a surprise.

I look at a door that's slightly open and see a pair of bloodshot eyes staring at me,my blood runs cold.

I open the door to see a closet. and nothing in it.

But there must be something in there.
I shrug it off thinking it's my imagination.but deep inside my brain I knew it wasn't

45 minutes later
"So...thats it?"asks Hazem.

"Yep!"me and Monica say in unision.
"That's all we have to do to hook them up" I add.

"He is going to have the time of his life!" Says Maher

"Yeah she sounds like a nice person"says Hazem

"She is the cutest funniest thing ever!" Adds Monica.

After me and Monica explained the plan to maher and Hazem.Monica said she had to go home, We said goodbye and exchanged numbers then,Najiib came running in.

"There is a dead girl in the bathroom,and u won't believe me If I told you what I saw"he says breathing heavily.
"Tell us!!" We all say.

He explained what happened and what he saw.
"I saw something like that too!"i exclaim.
"Really?" "Yes!"

"Could it be....?"
"No that's impossible, there is no such thing as vampires...."whispers Hazem.

"Which way did it go?"

"I don't know"

" but where do most vampires live?" Asks Hazem

"In the woods"whispers Najiib.

"Let's go look in the woods then!" I say.

They all look at me like I'm crazy
"C'mon....it could be your imagination" says maher
"No!!its not!!!"me and Najiib say angrily.

"Well,what are we waiting for then?,lets go women!"says Hazem smiling.
"What's the worst that could happen?" I say.
We all look at each other then leave to go search in the woods.

'I'm going to regret doing this' I think to myself..
