Newt Scamander, renowned Magizoologist, found himself in an bustling side street of London. His purpose was to visit his older brother, Theseus, who unlike Newt, enjoyed the urban lifestyle. Theseus Scamander was a revered Auror. Not only that, he was also the Head of the Auror Office at the British Ministry of Magic. Newt, although proud of his brother, always felt a bit uneasy in his brother's immaculate city house. As he walked up the polished marble steps, Newt found himself reaching for his suitcase. His fingers skimmed over the worn leather, providing him with a sense of comfort. He gave a sigh of relief. Knocking on the grand wooden door, he waited, glancing at his surroundings. Everything seemed so pristine and orderly a stark contrast to his suitcase world. "Newt!" Theseus' loud voice echoed through the hallway. He greeted Newt with a firm handshake, pulling him into a brotherly hug. "It's been too long!" He exclaimed, patting Newt's shoulder. It's good to see you, Theseus," Newt said, giving his brother an equally warm smile. He looked around at the opulently decorated interior of the house. "You've done well for yourself." Theseus
laughed, leading Newt into a large living room. Tall bookshelves lined the walls filled with books of law and justice, few on magical creatures. The difference between the brothers was obvious. "Would you like some tea?" Theseus asked. Newt, distracted by a book on magical law, nodded. As the older brother retreated to the kitchen, Newt found himself pulling a face at the dry legal terms in the book. They settled down on the plush sofa, steaming cups of tea in hand. Theseus inquired about Newt's recent travels and his legendary suitcase. Every now and then, his eyes would drop to the worn leather suitcase on the floor. Newt, in return, asked about recent developments at the Ministry. Theseus willingly shared, although he frequently lamented the lack of opportunity to get out and about. Their choice of careers couldn't be more different. As they
conversed, Newt felt the familiar pull of his suitcase. A soft, barely audible growl echoed from inside. He turned, his hand automatically reaching out towards it. Theseus followed his gaze, his eyes widening slightly. "Something's wrong?" he asked. Newt shook his head, gently patting the suitcase. "No, just a creature waking up," he said. "You know, I've always admired your dedication to magical creatures, Newt," Theseus said. Newt looked over at his older brother, smiling. "And I've always admired your dedication to justice, Theseus." The day passed swiftly. Soon, the London sky was painted with hues of pink and orange, signaling the end of the day. Newt rose from the sofa, lifting up his suitcase. Theseus followed him to the door. "You're always welcome, Newt," he said, giving him a firm handshake. Newt nodded, stepping out into the cool evening. As he walked down the marble steps, he couldn't help but smile. Despite their differences, he and Theseus were still brothers, sharing a bond that was unbreakable. Newt reached the bottom of the staircase and paused for a moment, glancing back at the grand house. He then proceeded to open his suitcase, stepping inside his real world. It was time to feed his magical creatures. Back in his own environment, he felt more at ease. He chuckled to himself, thinking about how different he and his brother were. Yet, they both respected and admired each other's world. As he prepared to feed his magical creatures, he thought of Theseus. His life was governed by laws and order, yet he respected Newt's chaotic suitcase world. This mutual respect was the basis of their relationship. The day's visit was a pleasant reminder for Newt of the bond he shared with Theseus. As different as they were, their bond was indeed magical. Newt finally ended his day by writing about his visit in his diary. The day was filled with brotherly love, a bit of reminiscing and lots of laughter. It was indeed a successful visit. As he turned off the light, he made a promise to himself. No matter how busy he was, he would always make time for Theseus. After all, family was as magical as his beasts. The next morning, Newt was back in his familiar routine. Feeding his magical creatures, documenting their behaviors, and ensuring they were healthy. His suitcase world was his home. But now, he knew that he had
another home too. A home where he was just a brother, not a Magizoologist. A home where he could relax, laugh and share stories. A home with Theseus. As he went about his day, he couldn't help but smile. His visit to Theseus had made him realize that difference is not a barrier. It is something to be celebrated and cherished. After all, it was this difference that made their bond stronger. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months and Newt found himself more and more eager for his next visit to Theseus. Each time he visited, he left with wonderful memories and a renewed sense of brotherly bond. In the end, Newt realized that his suitcase world and Theseus's orderly house didn't really conflict. Instead, they complemented each other. After all, they were both built on the foundations of love, respect and dedication. And so, Newt Scamander, the famous Magizoologist, found a perfect balance. Between his adventurous explorations, his devotion to his magical creatures and his warming visits to his brother in the city. It was indeed a magical life.
