Im getting tired...and need help.

Chapter 23 < festival >

The festival in the empire was great. Children playing around, people buying and selling things and lots of show are happening in the street..like one that cale is watching now with straight face.

"Oh! Look! A shiled is proctecting us!" Shout the street actor in amazement.

"You're right! This must be the young master shield, we're safe!!"

Around the small stage was filled with silver marniks which suddenly exploded and the audience cheered.

"Waahh! Look On! They're so beautiful!" Lily shouted with enthusiasm watching the show

On was just watching it in silence even though his mouth was slightly open and his eyes twinkled at the sight of those glitter sparkle, where is Cale? He just folded his arms and watched with unamused face while drinking a milkshake.

'Hmm..looks like On likes them...' Cale thought as he glanced at the little silver girl.

'Should I put it in her debut party too?'

Cale started imagining the glitter beads flying around the dance hall…it must be beautiful and shining.

After the show was over, they continued to walk happily and Cale became the girls' personal food carrier.

"Brother! I want that!"

"Sure"

"I want to try that too Bro!"

"just try"

"Can I buy that..?"

"Want the shop as well?"

Cale asked On who seemed nervous about asking while On quickly refused outright.

"Don't! ..one is enough"

"Okay..."

Cale sighed and bought two of the largest lollipop in the small shop.

On that saw cale is already sigh giving up while Lily was excited to eat it.

“Here..” Cale handed it to them after paying it.

"Yay! Thanks Brother"

"Thanks Cale nyaa" On took it a bit embarrassed even though she was actually happy.

As they continued walking through the festival, Cale just followed the two of them silently and looked around for any danger, all of a sudden…

SREEEKKK!!

An arrow would have almost hit the redhead if he didn't dodge nimbly.

'The hell!?'

Cale immediately looked around as he searched for the origin of the arrow and activated the shield around him and On, lily.

Cale immedietly carried On and Lily and quickly ran while activating his shield.

"Brother! Why did you suddenly run!?" Lily asked confused by her big brother actions.

“I'll explain later. Lower your heads,” Cale ordered as he held them tightly in his arms.

An arrow flew again behind Cale's head as he ran making the girls panic and fear.

"Brother! I can beat up the culprit, put me down!" Lily shouted boldly.

"Not now..just beat them up when we meet face to face" Cale said and used the power of the wind to speed up his run.

Cale asked the wind spirits to find the location of the culprit while On started to emit a bit of fog as she lowered her head and turn into her cat form.
