To think that Ren, someone who had a determined mind just joined the Stellaron hunters just like that, is unlikely and unsettling to Jing Yuan. He intends to find out what actually happened, but he knows that Ren wouldn't tell him that easily, but it was worth a try.
He walked to the prison cell where Ren was held. Told the guards to leave, and he couldn't help but feel sad. It's like the person he once knew was completely erased from his world. It pained him, but it had already happened.
"Blade."
"Oh. I didn't think the General would have time to visit me. What's the occasion?"
"I just need to ask you something. Regarding what happened after you disappeared."
"That... Would you believe me if I told you I died."
"What? But how?"
"I don't remember how I died, but I do remember YinYue Jun healing me, then my body was possessed by the mara, but not fully I met kafka about 12 days after, she was able to suppress the mara in me. Then Elio promised me the outcome I wanted."
"Which was?"
"My death. Being immortal is a curse. Yuan."
"Ren.."
"I'm surprised you still remembered."
"Of course I remember I care about you."
"You care about me?"
"Yes, I care."
"I don't see why."
"What do you mean, Ren?"
"Yuan. I'm a wanted criminal everywhere, I've killed millions of people."
"We trained together since we were young. We had memories together. Happy and sad. It's only natural for me to care about you."
Blade felt that feeling again, but this time, it stung him. He hated seeing Jing Yuan hurt. From when they were close to now. He wanted to comfort Jing Yuan, but he couldn't because he didn't know how to.
"Fine. Have it your way, I guess."
"Ren.."
"Hmm."
"I.." Jing Yuan said as he walked towards the cell.
"You what?"
"I missed you."
"Still clingy as ever."
Blade felt a faint smile appearing on his face as he looked at Jing Yuan. Though this touching moment between the two didn't last long when Yanqing was heard calling for Jing Yuan to come see.
"General? General!"
"I need to go. I'll see you later, Ren." Jing Yuan smiled and walked off.
This can't be happening to me right now. There is no way I'm in love with Jing Yuan.
