I was by the doorway, waiting on Katie. When she finally walked over to me, She walked right past me exiting out the door. I just simply followed right behind her. Once I caught up to her, She tried to make small talk. "so... you and Leah?" unfortunately, The small talk was gonna be very awkward. "what about me and Leah." I say as I'm just trying to avoid the question. "I mean, It's pretty clear yall like each other." she says like it's obvious. "how?" I say still not understanding why this matters to her. I thought we hated each other? "Today, in the locker room. She went up behind you. Rested her hands on your hips, Slipped her thumbs into your Waistband. You instantly felt comfortable and you didn't even have to look back at who it was... Then in the room... She was... She was kissing you on your neck. With her hands on her waist. You were enjoying it." she says all that with a voice that sounds numb. But yet I couldn't help but think why did this matter to her. How did she remember all this, with such detail? "Me and Leah aren't a thing. We're just friends who fool around sometimes. It's all just plain simple fun." Just trying to get this over with.

We finally arrived at the paint store. Once we got 2 more cans of paint and paid, we started walking back. That's when she just had to speak up. "you know I'm sorry right?" she said out of the blue. "for what?" I said looking at her with my head tilt to the side a bit, we took a seat at this park bench right down the street from my house. It took a few minutes and a few big deep breaths. But she finally spoke up. "For Paralyzing you a year or two ago. I never hated you Either. I went to the hospital, Right after I got sent off the pitch. I was scared to go in fully, But Millie told me to. I left before you woke up Because I couldn't see you... after what I had done. I shouldn't have swung on you either. Or said what I said. I'm sorry for everything I did for you. Especially every time we played man city." I laughed a bit. Which left her with a confused look on her face. "What's funny?" she said in a serious tone. "nothing. It's just our rivalry has been going on for years and now all of a sudden I don't have to worry about getting beat up, every time we play against each other in training.

I say having a little laugh at the end, which Katie joins in on. "yeah, I guess that is a little funny. Although Millie told me something Before she told me to go to the hospital. That's really the only reason I had the confidence to do this." OH GOD NO! What could Millie have possibly told her. "well what'd she tell you?" I say curiously but anxiously. " I won't tell you the whole thing but, She said Something about the way you look at me when I'm not looking She went into detail about how you look at me." I don't look at her anyway when she not looking... I went to speak something until Katie cut me off. "well we should get back." after that, I just went along with what she said, and grab a bucket of paint, and started walking home. Once we arrived back, Everyone cracked open the last two things of paint and finished the living room, and my bedroom up. After they all left, I cooked some food, Took a shower, Did my nighttime routine. And went to bed thinking about what Katie Said.
