This story is based on colors TV show thapki pyaar ki which aired during 2015-2017.

Here is the brief summary of the show,

This is the story of a girl who lives in agra and whose real name is vaani but since she stutters and wants a pat on her back to complete her sentence so due to this now everyone calls her Thapki. Thapki is really inspired by a famous journalist named dhruv pandey for always speaking the truth. Fate plays its part and thapki gets a chance to become an intern in dhruv's office and due to this she along with her mother travels to noida and her sister, younger brother and father stays back in Agra.
Meanwhile, dhruv pandey is a very serious and a very boring but a caring person, he loves his mother vasundhara alot but he doesn't share a good bond with his father balwinder pandey as he thinks that his father earns money by doing bad deeds as his father does the work of vacating the lands from people who are occupying it illegally and he also punishes the people and that's the whole city is scared of him. Elsewhere, his father also loves his adopted younger son bihaan pandey more then dhruv as bihaan saved his life from goons when bihaan was merely 7 years old and thats when balwinder pandey adopted him and named him bihaan. However, vasundhara doesn't loves bihaan as she feels that he is not her blood, but bihaan can even give his life for vasundhara and his family.
Dhruv's family also consists of dhruv's two orphaned cousin brothers ashwin and sanjay who are married to preeti and suman respectively, who always makes mistake and then are punished by vasundhara. Dhruv's paternal grandmother also loves bihaan more then anyone else and his younger sister kiran also shares a great bond with bihaan.
Dhruv and thapki fall in love while working in the same office. Vasundhara also likes thapki so she decides to get thapki and dhruv married, however, vasundhara who has a problem with things that don't work properly doesn't knows that thapki stutters. During the sangeet ceremony when vasundhara hears thapki stuttering she couldn't believe her ears and forms and hatred for thapki and tries many ways to stop the wedding as feels that thapki is not a good human being as she stutters, however all her plan fails. So on the wedding day she requests bihaan to take dhruv's place and get married to thapki and bihaan who is always ready to do anything for his family agrees to her request and promises that he will never let anyone know that she is the mastermind of this plan. Thapki and bihaan get married to each other.
Thapki decides to live in the pandey niwas for 3 months and then leave. Initially bihaan and thapki hate eachother alot but then they are able to see the good side of each other so they become friends and then fall in love with eachother.
