Alexander's POV

I woke up at 5 to prepare breakfast and get ready for school. I was feeling so refreshed today. I don't know the exact reason behind this, maybe the dream I had last night. I showered up pretty quickly and got dressed as fast as I could before walking down the stairs. I started preparing breakfast as I don't want to be late for my classes. When everything was ready I called my parents and brother for breakfast. A few minutes later they came into the dining room and sat at the table. I served them and took my seat to eat. As usual, they ignored me and chatted among themselves. But today I didn't feel sad or disappointed. I think I have realized that, no matter how hard I try, my family is never gonna treat me better.
     When they left the table I stood and picked the dishes and put them in the basin. I picked up my school bag before leaving the house. On my way, I soon drifted into the thoughts of my dream. In my dream, I was wandering into the forest suddenly I heard a noise not far away from me. I turned back and inspected my surroundings for any signs of danger. But I saw nothing except some rabbits hopping here and there. But I still was on guard and moved further with caution. After some time I stopped in my tracks. The scene in front of me made my heart stop beating. To say I was stunned would be an understatement. A man was laying on the grass field looking at the sky. Although his face was not clear to me I could tell that the man was around 22 or 23. He was well sculpted, no more than well sculpted. I didn't realize I was staring at him in my frozen state, my legs were unable to move. The two buttons of his shirt were undone, showing a tattoo. I mean it was my first time staring at a man and I admit I never looked at anyone, but I'm damn sure that he's the hottest guy of whole America. It would have been better if I have seen his face, but it's ok. I'm sure if I have seen his face I would have fainted right then and there. I would like to see him a second time, but dismissed the thought cause I knew its impossible.
I forgot to tell you guys that like to sing it's the only thing that distracts me from my never-ending pain. I like to play guitar as well but I can only play that when I am in my school's music room and of course when it's empty. I am not bragging but I'm good at singing. I was pulled out of my thoughts when I reached in front of the school gate. I observed my surroundings people were talking about something. But I could only hear whispers, their voice was extremely low. Something happened when I was not in the building during lunch break, but you can't blame me, I have to escape from the canteen so that I would not bump into my bullies. Otherwise, I would get beaten to death by them. I don't get why Steve hates me so much, let me tell you guys Steve is a beta, the leader of his so-called three-member gang which includes his two friends Ron and Max both gamma. They are the members of our neighbor pack RED MOON PACK. And their alpha's name is Williams Clark. I don't know much about this pack.
         Well, now I am positive that I would know what happened yesterday. I just have to try to listen carefully to what they are talking, so I will take off my earbuds. I always wear them when I'm out of class. Because I don't like to hear gossip and more specifically no one talks to me. But today I got a reason to take them off. I entered the gate and walked into the corridor at a slow pace. I heard two girls talking and if I'm correct their names are Rose and Rita. They are twins Rose has blonde hair and Rita has curly black hair. Rose was saying, " he was so cool how could someone be that handsome? Oh my god, I could die to get that man." " Yeah you are right he's so fine,  I mean I have never seen a man this gorgeous.  His mate would be so lucky to have a mate like him. I'm so envious of his to-be mate". Rita smiled after saying that. I was wondering who they were talking about suddenly I was grabbed by the collar and yanked towards the floor. I don't have to look up to know who this person was. Steve is the only one who would dare to do something like that in front of everyone. He bent and grabbed a handful of my hair while saying "You are the damn reason that bastard showed up at school to lecture me, he thinks he can control me. Soon he will know I'm not like other fools whom he could suppress by using his fame. I'm not afraid of him. Suddenly I heard the light footsteps of someone who was approaching me. I prepared myself for another blow but it never came, instead came a high-pitched voice saying "Stop this shit right now.  I saw Steve rose and told the person to get lost before he beats the shit out of him. I looked up and froze the person who helped me was none other than my pack's alphas brother Daniel. I didn't expect him to be here, he's always in the classroom or the library, and talks to few people. Don't get me wrong I'm not judging him it's just my first time seeing him in the crowd. It's not usual for me to have someone to speak for me or even save me.
I guess it's because it's the first time Steve is beating me in public. Daniel helped me stand up and patted my uniform. I flinched cause I hate skinship but I suppressed my nervousness. Daniel turned toward Steve and said, "Didn't you hear what my brother said yesterday, or are you deaf? Cause I clearly remember he said not to bully anyone or else there won't be a next time. It doesn't matter if you are my pack member or not, he won't back off from his promise." Steve was fuming with rage after hearing this and argued back, "I don't give two fucks about what he said, 'cause he's not my alpha. There is no need for me to obey his orders like a dog. And if you think I'm afraid of him then you are fucking dumb for thinking that. It's none of his business what I do. So tell him to mind his own business. Daniel snorted and said, " I thought I should try to talk to you one last time so that you can't make excuses at the end. Let's go. " He grabbed my hand and started walking far from the chaos but Steve grabbed my other hand. Daniel turned and smacked his hand hard enough to make him retrieve it. That's when I realized that Daniel is also a beta. Amid this, the school bell rang indicating the classes are about to start in five minutes. All the students rushed to their respective classes. I turned to Daniel and thanked him for saving me. He asked my name, and I told him my name is Alexander. We bid Goodbye and ran for our classes.
